And when I say, 'pretty much nonexistent', I mean that there is one single strand of teardrop shaped crystals draped between her upper shoulder blades. Other than that, there is NOTHING on the back. And oh blyad' me what a gloriously naked, smooth, soft, unblemished back it is too. And on her feet, she wore a pair of crystal covered Jimmy Choo's. Of course, I only knew the name brand of the shoes, the type of dress and the kinds of crystals that were on the dress because Lissa had told me. (fuck)
And my dear God was lyubov' moya beautiful, she is always beautiful, but when she actually tried to be beautiful. I didn't stand a chance in ad of not noticing, and neither did any other red blooded male within a hundred and twenty-five million miles of her. (my love, hell)
Unless of course they were family, considered family, blind, stupid, gay, completely crazy, idiots, or dead. And I sure as ad was none of those things. Well, we are family just in an entirely different way. We are family in a way you were family with the woman that you were madly in love with. The woman that you intended to have a family with and marry someday, hopefully one day very soon. (hell)
Five minutes before the coronation was to start Alberta, Lissa, Christian, Eddie, Mason, Abe, Pavel, Sergei, and all of their guardians. Slipped out and took their seats so that they could watch Roza and I as we were being crowned. All of mine and Roza's guardians stayed behind because they are all supposed to escort us to and from our crowning.
(TPOV) Tatiana
"Hello everyone, we are here today to crown the newest prince and princess to join our ranks."
The room shook with applause, and I smiled.
"I call forth Rosemarie Antoinette Marisol Hathaway Mazur Badica."
I watched as Rose walked out of the room, that she and Dimitri had been sequestered in, and towards the dais. She was escorted by twelve guardians on each side of her. She carried herself regally, head held high and with all the poise and grace of her true station, as she walked down the red carpet.
When she was standing next to me on the dais, I kissed her on each cheek and motioned for her to kneel on the 'Badica' family coronation pillow. This pillow was used each time a Badica was crowned as either a princess, a prince, a queen, or a king. As long as the king was married to the appointed queen. So, it would be used again when the time came for me to crown her as queen.
Once she was kneeling, I began. "Rosemarie Antoinette Marisol Hathaway Mazur Badica, do you promise to always do what is best for all of your people, not just the moroi but the dhampir as well?"
"I do." She said in English, Russian, Romanian, Turkish and Scottish Gaelic.
She had to answer in Russian, Romanian and Turkish because that was her heritage from her paternal side of the family. And in Scottish Gaelic because that was her maternal side of the family as well as English because she had been raised here in America. And because this is where her crowning is taking place.
"I do." She answered again in the same languages as before.
"Do you promise to put your people and the needs of your people first?"
"I do."
"Do you promise, in the future, to do everything that you possibly can to help cleanse our world of the strigoi that plague us each and every day?"
"I do." Everyone could hear the steal, strength, and conviction in her voice when she answered that time.
"I, Queen Tatiana Ivashkov by the powers bestowed upon me as queen of the moroi and dhampir people. Do hear by crown you Princess Rosemarie Antoinette Marisol Hathaway Mazur Badica, the princess of the Badica family." I said as I lay her new tiara upon her beautiful and regal head.
