Everything was happening so fast.

Once everything with Beni was set in stone, she wanted to make the announcement as soon as possible. We talked it over and it was decided that to avoid any retaliation, we would do everything at the same time, and electronically.

Jin had a crew go to the palace that I had lived at for so long and pack up all of my belongings. Mine, Hoseok's, Jimin's, Jungkook's and Yoongi's belongings needed to be moved from one place to another. Even Yoongi's favorite grand piano that he inherited from his family needed to be packed up. Jimin went with the crew for the time being to be sure that nothing was missed, and of course Namjoon traveled with him. Beni said she would send me anything that was missed, but we wanted to try to avoid that all together.

All the paperwork for my abdication was signed and Beni was now the new leader of her own kingdom.

She hired a media crew to put together a video that would be displayed on every news show, emailed to all registered occupants of the kingdom, and even an invitation for a celebration for her coronation.

First she had me make a statement, and have it recorded for the video.

I was dressed in my favorite suit, charcoal gray with royal blue accents and blouse. I was in front of a camera in the conference room of the house we were staying in, make -up done, hair back to its dark color, done up in a professional style, and my heart nearly beating out of my chest. Lights were pointed at me, and Beni was in the background standing next to Jin as they both watched.

After taking a deep breath, I notified the director that I was ready, and he started to roll the camera.

"Good Evening." I started, digging up the courage I could find within me. "I have come to you today in celebration. It may seem odd, however the royal family always has the best interests of their people. I have come to the realization and understanding, that though I am qualified to be your queen, that I am not earned to be your queen. Through my childhood, you lost your beloved queen, and for the most part your King. He was absent too often, as was I. That has put a very high strain on the royal blood with their people, with you. I have done my best to educate myself and prepare myself to be the leader you all need and deserve, however sometimes that isn't enough. The celebration I speak of today is the announcement of my abdication as your queen, and the coronation of Benita Germania Cage as the newly appointed queen. She has grown up with not only me, but with you all as well. She has lived among you, gained your trust, and has the knowledge and ability to run this kingdom as her own. I will still follow through with the arrangement to marry into our allied kingdom. My betrothed, Seokjin and I have not made the decision to abdicate lightly, and we are confident that your new Queen, who still carries the royal blood, will be honorable, kind, intelligent, stern, and successful. She is now and furthermore your rightful Queen. Thank you for celebrating with me."

Once I finished, the director cut the camera and I slumped in my chair. So many emotions were running through me, I didn't even notice Jin at my side until he was wiping tears from my eyes. I hadn't even noticed I was crying.

"You did so well!" he said, kissing me on my cheeks. "Baby, don't cry. You did well."

"You did." Beni confirmed walking over and placing a hand on my shoulder. "My turn cousin."

I nodded and got to my feet, Jin keeping me in his arms and pressed us up against the wall to watch Beni.

When the camera rolled, she smiled brightly and spoke.

"Good Evening, my people." She started. "I am honored and excited to be your new reigning queen, but I would like to take a moment to thank my cousin. It takes a very intelligent, and strong-willed person to abdicate the throne in honor of what's best for her people. None of us should look down upon what she did. It was courageous and difficult, and it takes a lot of emotional strength to come to a conclusion the way she did. She acknowledged what was right for you all, and appointed me as your new leader with the promise of only good to come to you. We should all be so lucky to have had someone so kind and selfless to make a better future for us. I thank her, and honor her name, as should all of you. I am very happy to be the leader of a kingdom I have grown in, learned in, and loved in. I vow to do right by you. Thank you."
