When Jin said that everything could be done in a week, he wasn't kidding.
The next morning, I had met with Taehyung in a room made specially for him, with a sketch pad and a bottle of wine. There were fabrics everywhere and I was shocked at the realization.
"You can make your one clothes?"
"Well yeah. Mostly my formal clothes though."
"How did I not know this?"
"I didn't wear much formal clothes last year." He laughed. "I spent most of my time naked or in the pool, or do you not remember?"
"Oh, I remember." I also laughed. "I guess I just never really put it all together."
"That's perfectly fine, but I'm going to be making your dress."
"Do you have enough time?" I asked him. "Jin said he thinks all we need is a week."
"I will have enough time don't you worry. I will even have enough time to design the tuxedos, but those can be made by our staff."
"You have a staff that makes your formal attire."
He looked at me with big eyes, as if he didn't understand my surprise. "Didn't you?"
"No!" I laughed. "We had royal shoppers but never a staff to make clothing."
"Well thank goodness the deprivation of that had ended for you."
Once the glasses of wine were filled, we got to work. I was never really a person for extravagance, but being Royal, you can't wear something less glamorous than your guests. Taehyung did a fantastic job of taking my suggestions into consideration and applying them to his vision.
The dress he designed was strapless, but with lace sleeves and I was going to have to wear a white coreset under it. Which he figured would be perfect for the wedding night. The skirt flowed elegantly, and was full of textures. The train was rather long, and it took some convincing to shorten it, but he did thankfully. I did not need to replicate Princess Diana. Once a few final touches were made, he kicked me out of his work room and got to work.
I even heard about it from Jungkook who was bitter that Tae was so busy with the task.
I didn't have to worry about any of the wedding planning either. Jin had a whole team taking care of everything including the guest list, security (which I refused to allow any of my team to be a part of that day), food, decorations, flowers, music, everything.
And I didn't mind one bit.
It allowed Jin and I to have the freedom of being brough up to speed by Taemin who had been helping in his absence. Jin even spoke to me about inheritance and financially stabilizing Taemin and his future family. Which of course I agreed to 100%. In between briefings and learning the political side of my new home, I would get texts for confirmation on wedding stuff. Pictures and questions of what I envisioned and what I wanted were very appreciated, even more so that the wedding planner was so good at his job.
After 6 days, Taehyung had dragged me from the spa room, away from Jin, dragging me into his work room.
When I saw the dress, I gasped out loud.
There was a high neckline, but through the material you would still be able to see through to my chest. Stones that glittered in the light circled the neckline and branched out downward. The breast plate part was also covered by the same glittery stones and over my shoulders. There were sleves with the nude lace with what looked like diamonds scattering down the sleeve. The stones continued down the body of the dress all the way around until the open back was free of stones and just showed a low back. The skirt fell out beautifully, followed along again by all the stones that were intricately put in place.
