The next morning, Mike and I woke up early to catch the flight.

"Where is this wedding again?" I asked.

"They're having it at a beach in British Columbia. We will be sleeping in a lovely beach hotel." He smiled.

"Mm two bed or one?" I turned around.

"Two, just incase you would rather sleep alone." He put on his jacket on over his shirt.

"Thanks for being considerate."

I was in some sweatpants and a sweatshirt while Mike had gotten dressed.

"You got everything you need?" He asked as we were heading down the stairs.

"Yeah." I dragged my suitcase behind me.

"Here i'll carry it."

"No it's not that heavy."

"Okay." He smiled before he closed the front door and lead me forward with his hand on my lower back.

We drove to the airport.

I yawned loudly, pulling my legs up to my chest.

"Tired?" Mike looked over.

"Very." I laid my head on his shoulder.

"Don't sleep yet, we'll be boarding in a minute." He said.

I raised my head quickly at his words.

"Or do, I could just carry you in there."  He smiled to himself.

"Or, you could just wake me up when it's time." I suggested tilting my head.

"Okay I will then."

I nodded my head before I drifted off to sleep.

When I awoke, I was on a plane.

"Mike!" I said groggily and sleepily, hitting his chest to my right.

"Wait, is this first class?" I asked.

"Yes it is. Only the best for the best." Mike said.

"That's cocky." I coughed.

"I meant you, the best for you Sam. Now get some more sleep. We have two hours to go."

I pushed the bar between our seats up and rested my head on Mike's lap.

"Ugh goodnight Mike."

"Goodnight Sam." He placed his hand on my left shoulder.

It took me a while to get tired this time.

I shifted on Mike's lap.

"Sam, here." He lifted my head and placed a pillow underneath.

"Thanks, that's much better."

After a few seconds, the plane shook causing me to sit up quickly.

"Hey don't worry, it's just... turbulence." Mike said reassuringly.

"Right." Is what I said, although I didn't get an ounce of sleep throughout the rest of the flight.

"This is beautiful." I said walking into our hotel room.

"Glad you like. What do you want to do today? This is also like a free vacation." Mike said excitedly.

"Swimming!" I smiled.

"I had the exact same thing in mind, let's get dressed." He agreed.

I looked through my clothes and found my favorite bikini. It was striped white and blue.
