When I woke up, I was on the couch alone. I looked around for Mike. "Mike?" I said.

As soon as I called for Mike, he came out of the bathroom.

"Sorry, i'm here." He said.

"How far are we from home?" I asked.

"Still an hour or longer left. How you holding up?"

"I'm okay, are you?"

Mike smiled with a slow nod. "I just want to get home already."

I smiled, "Why? got plans?" I asked.

"Hopefully with you." He smirked before heading to the pilot's part of the plane.

I smiled to myself before laying back under the blankets.

When Mike came back to me, he kneeled down beside the couch.

"Will you let me see that scrape now?" He asked.

I pulled out my arm and tilted my elbow.

"I'll get some stuff to help clean it up." He walked to the bathroom.

He came back with alcohol and a bandage.

He poured alcohol on a gauze and placed it on the bloody scrape. I winced a little and he took it off, placing the bandage on top.

"All good."

I hugged him after feeling a fuzzy feeling in my stomach.

He rested his hand on my hair gently.

"Go back to sleep, we'll be home soon." He pulled away and caressed my cheek. I laid back down and went to sleep.

I opened my eyes slowly to the view of Mike's chest. I raised my head.

"Oh you're awake." He then sat me on my own two feet.

"We're home, I already put your stuff upstairs, I just came to get you." He informed me. Raindrops had been falling on my face.

"So did the pilot land close to here or something?" I asked.

"He went back to the airport so I could get the car and drive us home."

"Oh, damn i've been in a deep sleep for a while then."

"You sleep talked for a while too." He chuckled.

"What!" I questioned.

"Just kidding." He said. I then hit his chest with a laugh.

My hair began to get damp and I looked up at the sky.

"The storm won't hit us right?" I questioned with some worry.

"No, we'll get some rain but we are too far to be hit by it." He answered.

"I just feel bad for everyone there. How will they deal with it? Will they even survive?" I said asking more of myself than Mike.

"They'll be fine Sam. Hey," He came closer getting my attention.

"they have storms there a lot, they know how to handle it. They probably bunkered down somewhere and are planning on cleaning up the storm damage tomorrow." He reassured me.

He wasn't just reassuring me, he was right.

"Yeah, I know." I smiled sweetly.

"Now that I have you all to myself." He sighed loudly and walked up to me, wrapping his arms around my lower back.

"Mike, I don't want to take this too fast." I said referring to our relationship.

"I understand." He stated. "Let's go inside."

"No." I stopped him. "I like it out here." I said with a smile.

He picked me up quickly and ran to the back of the house. "Mike put me down!" I yelled.

"Don't worry, you'll like it out here." He chuckled before throwing me in the pool.

I came to the surface. "Mike!"

"It was an accident." He pouted his lips.

I quickly swam to him and hopped out of the pool.

"You are so dead." I started to chase him and he opened the back door.

When I got to the back door, he locked it. "Mike let me in!" I chuckled.

"What's the magic word?" He laughed.

"Please Mike it's freezing." I said banging the door. He finally opened the door quickly. I shut it behind me before turning around and pushing him playfully.

"Don't do that again."

He laughed and walked into the kitchen.

"What shall we cook..." He opened the fridge.

"Make that order." He closed it and went to grab his phone.

"You." I said with a smirk.

"Don't tease me Sam." He shook his head, hiding his smile.

"Let's make spaghetti." I suggested.

"I don't feel like it." He sat on a stool at the island.

"Then i'll cook, you can watch and learn." I then sprinted to the kitchen.

I looked for noodles, hamburger, tomato sauce, and vegetables.

"Veggies? Ugh." He made a mucky face.

"Trust me, you'll like it."

I finished making the spaghetti and playing in Mike's huge kitchen.

I grabbed some spaghetti on my fork and motioned for Mike to open his mouth.

He ate the spaghetti and hummed.

"You're right. Damn, I didn't know you could cook." He licked his lips.

Mike and I finished the rest of the spaghetti and watched a movie in the living room.
