Chapter 40

*Marie's POV*
The next morning Taylor opened the door, thank God Lauren and I had the blanket covering us, and woke us up. She told us breakfast was ready. Today we were going back home and I can't wait to see Paige. We got dressed and headed downstairs. Everyone was at the table and giggling quietly.
"What's so funny?" Lauren asked.
"Nothing I just thought you ate enough last night." Chris said before laughing really hard.
"CHRIS!" Her mom yelled. I turned red and hid my face in Lauren's shoulder.

"You heard us didn't you.." I asked quietly.
"Taylor and I did." Chris confessed.
"Plus Marie has a bunch of hickeys." Taylor pointed out.
"Shit." Lauren cursed quietly.

We sat down and ate before going up and packing.
"We should shower babe." I heard Lauren's husky voice behind me. She wrapped her arms around my waist and dragged me into the shower.
"We might as well save water too." She winked. I blushed and started undressing. She got into the shower and I stood outside looking at my reflection. My scars were fading slightly.

"Babe..come on." Lauren poked her head out. I hopped in the shower and Lauren looked really hot.
"I really did do a number on your neck Marie." She caressed my neck.
"It's okay Lolo. You made up for it." I smirked at her.
"I'm glad."

We finished in the shower and said goodbye to her family after they drove us to the airport. It was a long flight home so we just slept the whole time.

~Time skip: 5 years later~
I'm 21 now. Paige is nine and Lauren's 22. We got married in the summer about a year ago. Things are amazing with Lauren and Paige.

I still struggle here and there but I haven't cut or starved or purged since I was 17. Lauren and Demi have helped me more than they will ever know.

Demi unfortunately miscarried back when I was 17. We all wept and mourned for days. Her and Niall are still going strong though.

As for Lauren and I, we're still very much in love. I still get butterflies when I see her and my heart melts when I see her and Paige together.

Chase and Sierra ended up in jail (no surprise there) and they haven't bothered us.

Right now I'm watching Lauren tell Paige a story. It's the cutest thing I have ever seen. I was in and kiss Paige's forehead and she wraps her arms around my neck.

"Goodnight baby girl."
"Goodnight mommy, goodnight Lolo." Lauren doesn't mind that she calls her that.

My wife turns off the light as we leave and we walk to our bedroom.

"You know, Marie, I have never been so glad that I met someone. I love you to the moon and back."
"I love you too Laur." She kisses me passionately and we fall asleep, happy.

That's the end. I started this back at the end of 2013. It's been amazing writing this. I have more stories and stuff in mind, plus Demi's Little Sister. I hope you enjoyed and as always, thanks for reading!! c:
