Chapter 27

*Marie's POV*
Demi came in and woke us up. She told Chase to take Paige and play downstairs.

"Marie, are you okay?"
"I'm freaking fantastic."
(Note the sarcasm.)
"Baby what's wrong?"
"I don't know maybe you've been ignoring me for months and then tell me you're pregnant!"

*Demi's POV*
"I know I haven't been paying attention to you honey, but I've been busy. I'm planning another tour and it takes a lot of work."
"You're going on a tour while you're pregnant?"
"Yes, well it's only for a few months and I'm not going to push myself. My fans will understand."
"Did you even tell them?"
"No...not yet, but I will."
"Alrighty then."
"Hey how about me and you go out on a mommy-daughter date?"
She smiled.
"I guess I'd like that."
"Let's go!"

We ended up going to a lake to swim. Marie was in a black bikini and mine was brown. It's a private lake so there were no paparazzi or fans. We were relaxing on the beach when she asked me a question.

"Are you scared?"
"Well, yeah. I never did this before. I kinda have an idea watching you go through this but it's still scary."
"It's not that bad mom..and when you hold that beautiful baby in your arms it makes it all worth while." She smiled, reminiscing.
I hugged her and we went back home. We ended up watching a movie and having a wonderful night.
