(Chapter Seven)

So here, the author is meant to give a big apology for not uploading when supposed but I think you guys have suffered long enough so I would leave that to the end.

Chapter Seven

Ben Arley/ Mr. Arley

I looked down at the demolished body below me. I then watched as Melissa ran in a panic. I stood stunned. What could this possibly mean? She felt this too. She was in fact my mate. I smirked at the idea; Melissa liked me.

I snapped back to reality when the leaves crumpled. Of course, she wasn’t dead. Her mother was a Maenad. They were one of the most powerful creatures out there and couldn’t be killed unless they were willing to let themselves go. She wasn’t dead and Melissa was soon to be dead. Unless, she thinks it was me. I thought about running and was about to change until Sarah was there standing in front of me like nothing had happened- looking as beautiful as ever.

“Where exactly do you think you’re going?” She hissed with a smirk evident on her face. I gulped.

Melissa Sanchez.

It’s been a long day. Mr. Arley was not back yet and I was worried. What could have happened to him?

“Melissa!” I heard my name being called as I shuffling down the hallway. I turned to see Brent running towards me as he jumped over heads; earning glares from my fellow wolves. He finally reached me, doubled over and panting. “I’ve been trying to get a hold of you for the past two periods. I just wanted to apologize for lunch.” I looked at him blankly.

“Okay.” I shrugged, not really wanting to forgive them. Betas, like me, can get really stubborn but when it’s someone who is already a Sagittarius, well then it is twice the stubbornness.

“So, how’s Mr. Arley?” He smiled at me. I lowered my gaze to the floor.

“Why do you ask? What makes you think I know?” I mumbled rapidly. I didn’t even look back at him. “I got to go, see you. Bye.” I rushed and ran towards my car to see my brother waiting for you. He was smirking at me until it dropped from his face and seriousness was there. Oh my gosh, he knows. I thought. He nodded as if responding to my statement.

I slowed my pace down so I got to the car slower. I wearily opened the car door and slid in. Jeremy was in the car in the blink of an eye. “What did you do?” He growled. If I thought I was in deep dog excrements before; well, I don’t know what I was talking about.

3 days later; In Maenad territory

Ben Arley/Mr. Arley

“So, Ben, are you ready to tell me the girl’s name?” Sarah said to me.

“Never...” I hissed quietly.

“Well, Ben, you leave me no choice...” She gazed into my eyes intently and I could feel her power overcoming and slowly taking over my mind.

Okay, here it is!

I'm sorry that I uploaded so late but (I know excuses, excuses...) it was my brother's wedding on Friday but I stupidly took my USB to it and it was all the way in Somerset but I live in London and I lost my USB so I couldn't upload over the weekend because I was there all weekend. Then when I got back on Sunday and checked my laptop for my back up copy of it, it seems that it didn't save properly and I only had Chapter Six whihc I had already uploaded. Then, I had to revise for multiple tests including one tomorrow but I shouldn't tell you all of this because you probably don't care.

And sorry again about it being so short. It was orginally like 3 pages but I lost everything! and had to rush this :(
