Chapter 15|

Ben

“Get off of her.” Jeremy growled but all I could do was look at the beauty that was below me. We were connected with a bond that was bigger than both of us, her parents, the Alpha, the moon and the stars – we were bounded by the universe. “Dude, did you not hear me? I said get off of my sister!” His voice was getting louder but I couldn’t take my eyes off her beautiful chocolate ones, her hair was spread across the couch as she laid there, breathing harshly, a grin written softly across her face; Beautiful.

She then shifted uneasily and then craned her head to look over the couch. She relaxed back but not before rolling her eyes. “Gosh, Jeremy, why do you have to ruin everything?” She said in a monotone voice.

“I’m sorry; Jeremy just wanted to get his wallet from his room. We didn’t mean to interrupt.” Sarah said taking a step out from behind Jeremy. I had almost forgotten that she had been there. I shuddered at her sickly sweet voice and it was my turn to roll my eyes and I got off of Melissa.

“Well, I and Melissa were just leaving.” I stated before pulling Melissa up and leading her out of the living room.

“We were?” She asked with her eyebrows all crumpled in the middle of her face. I nodded my head and then looked at her, giving her a wink waiting until she comprehended. She went wind eyed and nodded while turning back to her brother and Sarah with a smile. “Yeah, it’s getting late; we’re going to miss the movie so...” She trailed off whilst slipping on her converses.

“Actually, Sarah and I were going to the movies. Maybe, we could like double date.” Jeremy said with a slight smirk at me and Sarah had the exact same expression as his- yup, they are mates. I rolled my eyes at Melissa’s slight slip up and put on one of my fakest smiles ever.

“Sure, that would be a great idea!” I grinned at both of them and nudged Melissa to play along and she soon nodded.  The smirks on their faces soon faltered but they recovered before you could mutter the word ‘bluff’.

“Ben, could you help me grab my...?” she trailed off. “In the kitchen, real quick?” She pointed in the direction of the kitchen before rushing off there. I gave a slight nod to Jeremy and Sarah and followed Melissa’s lead.

I reached the kitchen to see a pacing Melissa biting her nails. “You know, biting your nails is a vulgar habit.” I should have kept my mouth shut because that earned me a glare, which could’ve killed if she wasn’t so cute.

“What were you thinking? I thought we were going to have a night in!” She hissed at me but it was quietly so that they couldn’t hear in the other room.

“I was being friendly!” I grinned and she returned it with a deadpanned expression. I don’t understand how I could’ve lived without all this time. How did I once live without seeing her grin, laugh or even be angry? It seems now, all I want to do is just see her beautiful face.

“Don’t you go saying that was being friendly, you..” She was sputtering trying to find the perfect words to convey her anger. “You utterly gorgeous and handsome buffoon!” She yelled and was just as stunned at what she said. “You amazingly s*xy devil!” She gasped! “Why can’t I insult you, you tw*t?” She hissed. “Hmm, twat I’m okay with!”

“It must be because you’re my mate! You can no longer swear at me or call me names for that matter!” I grinned. She scowled at me.

“Let’s just get this over and done with.” She mumbled as she left the kitchen. I followed her out to see an awaiting couple.

“So, let’s go! What movie are we watching?” I clapped my hands in delight.

Melissa’s POV

I smiled in awe at the 3D screen showing Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallow Part 2. I’ve loved all of them and was dancing as soon as my brother said that we were going to watch it. I grabbed a handful of popcorn off Ben without taking my eyes off the screen. It was awkwardly silent as Voldemort hugged Draco and I couldn’t stifle the laughter at Voldemort trying to hug Draco lovingly. Draco obviously felt guilty as everyone cold see that he was a Death eater- forced by his parents nonetheless.

I relaxed in my seat as Voldemort began to speak again. I rested my arm on the armrest and Ben slowly put his hand over mine. I pulled my eyes off the screen to slowly grin at Ben before looking back at the screen.

I had to hold in my pee as the wand fight between Harry and Voldemort began. Maybe I shouldn’t have had the Super Jumbo coke in the first place. Stupid me. I felt a cold breath on my ear, “I think you should go to the bathroom now.” It was Sarah giving me an evil smirk. I rolled my eyes looking back the screen and shaking my leg.

The lights went on as the ending credits were finishing. I sighed. Well, there goes my childhood. I can’t believe 10 years have gone by so fast! I remember the first time I watched the Philosopher’s stone in the cinema with my parents and Jeremy. I looked over to smile at Jeremy and he was sniffing!

“Jeremy, are you crying?” I smirked at him and he gave me a glare before a tear rolled down his cheek.

“Well, I’m sorry I can’t be a heartless Beta, like you!” I stiffened at the slip up Jeremy made and he noticed. I looked back at Ben and Sarah and they were in an intense conversation; I don’t know where to be worried or overjoyed.
