It's me Layla after Devon died I went to his funeral. And 7 months later I gave birth to a healthy baby boy I named Daniel Devan Johnson ( In MM) . I'm a single mom after graduation I found a job working as a personal hair stylist for Ciara, Ashanti and Selena Gomez and others and I have an apartment plus I drive a black Nissan. Since my mom kicked me out so I had hustle I made mistakes but I'm owning up to them and moving on from them since I can't change the past. I am currently on dating terms with a guy named Chris ( In MM) he's a good guy sweet, humble and mighty fine. I sat at my station playing with Cassie hair trying to figure out what I was going to do for it. " ight I'm done. " she gives me a hug telling me thank you then leaves as I sit in my chair. Chris texted me " Are you busy tonight ?" I answer back " No " then I felt someone tap me making me turn around. " Fantasia ?" Getting up off my chair " Yeah its me " says it in her soft voice. " What can I do for you ?" Inviting her to my chair. " You know I want a short hair style lay " I nod " also I want something different " I look up different mole hairstyles then I look up at her face through the mirror. " Do you like this ?" Showing her my phone " Yes I love it " smiling at me. I nod " okay relax. I'm going to work my magic " getting the coconut oil, brush, scissors, weave, needle and thread, spritz , and jam. I went to work on her hair starting it then I used the wand adding what I saw in the picture. I exhale combing the hair perfectly down " Okay I'm finished" using my hand to rub down a spot on her hair " your a miracle worker lay" touching her new hairdo as I smile. " Your welcome tashia" picking up my comb and brush. " No thank you " she hands me a 600 dollar tip leaving me as I sit back in my chair. I look back at my phone " I'll come and pick you up at 8 " Chris texts me. I text back okay and end up looking to find Cassie in front of me with two dresses a sliver short one and a red long one. " Which one? " I grab the fabric seeing the slit. " where your going ?" Also checking out the sliver which was a mid thigh " VMA " as I another girl does her makeup. " Well for that wear the red " Adding my opinion. She smiles then leaves .

When I finally got home my sister was watching Daniel while she was on the phone." hey sis " she waves at me and continues her conversation. I roll my eyes walking to my room to go take a quick shower. I grab my Victoria lace Grey set then I look for me dress to wear. I found me my burgundy strapless dress then laid that on my bed then I went to take my shower. After I got out it was 7:34 I quickly plugged up the straighter and got my makeup out then walked to my room with my towel around me." Put on some clothes " Kelly shouted " This my house little girl " going into my room and closing my door. I put on my dress then started greasing up with virgin oil then I looked at the time 7:37 . I get up putting my black heels then walked to the bathroom first I had to clean off the mirror since it was fogged up. I took my towel and wiped the mirror off best I could and started straighten my hair then I put some makeup with my burgundy lipstick. I look up to see it was 7:58 I close my stuff back and unplug the straighten walking to my room to find my jacket. I went with my leather jacket as I heard a knock at the door.

" Lay its Chris " she yells as I click my heels meeting face to face with him. " You look beautiful " I smile as he takes my hand " Don't be out all night " Kelly yells out the door. I roll my eyes as he opens the door for me and I get in. He jogs to his side then starts the car by pushing the start button. " How was work " he pulls out my apartment building space out unto the road. " It was really cool. I met Cassie and Fantasia today and they loved the way I did they hair " He nods " My girl got them magic hands with hair " I laugh at his corniness " Yeah I guess " watching as he pops in one of his CD I just sit back with my seat belt on.

I started singing along since I loved the song. When brandy was done she walked off stage while we snapped as some others got up to do poetry. Their poetry was really good as I sipped on my drink. " How did you find out about this place " I whisper " A friend told me about it " touching my hand. Around 10:30 we left the spot and got into his car. " did you like the spot ?" Starting the engine then pulling it off. " Yeah I had a really good time " smiling starting to take off my bracelet that Devon gave me then putting it in my pocket. " That's good " nodding his head I watched his stereo light up turning on neyo let me love you. He started singing to me as I shook my head laughing at him. The song was over and onto the next song when we got to my apartment parking space. " I really had a good time " looking at him blushing " I'm glad you did " he licks his lips then leans over kissing me on the lips. At first I was surprised then I started kissing back after a minute we depart and I got out. " Goodnight Layla " he watched me as I walked to my front door " good night Chris " I smile then unlock my door and watch him leaving while I close the door behind me. " I'm in love " I say to myself sliding down the door while Kelly shakes her head at me.
