So, I posted this first on my Tumblr.

Ever since you were a little girl, you had always dreamed of the day when your brand would shine, revealing the identity of your soul mate. You spent years imagining what your soul mate would look like.

A mission had taken you to New York, where you were part of a small team of agents. However, one night there was an unexpected confrontation, for a moment you thought you were going to be defeated until suddenly Steve appeared, saving you.

Steve helped you up, and when his hand touched yours, you felt a warmth on your wrist. You looked down and, to your amazement, the mark on your skin glowed brightly.

Steve noticed it too, and when he lifted his wrist, you saw that the mark on his skin also glowed. The world seemed to stop for a moment, you didn't know what to say.

"You...?" you began, not knowing how to continue.

From that moment on you began to spend more time together.

"Did you ever imagine it would be like this?" you asked, breaking the silence.

"I never thought much about it. I've lived so long... out of my time, that I came to accept that some things just weren't meant for me, but now, I realize that I was wrong. That fate had a plan for me. And that plan was you."

"How can you be so sure?

"What more do I need when I have my whole world in my arms?" Steve took your hand.

You embraced it, in Steve's arms, you felt like you had finally found your place.
