So, I posted this first on my Tumblr.

Jack woke up in the middle of the night and had a strange feeling. He knew that the next day he had a mission; he had gotten you to be his partner on this occasion. He had proposed that if the mission was successful, he would ask you out, although maybe he should hurry. He was afraid that Steve would go ahead.

"You look different, Jack," you commented as soon as you saw him.

"I look the same as always," he replied.

"That's not true; I've known you for many years, and you seem less angry than usual.

"It's the first mission we have together, just you and me."

"No, that's not true; we've been working together for years. You're right; well, then let's make this work," you said.

It seemed that everything had gone well; they were taking their way back when you noticed something.

"We have company," you pointed out.

"Maybe if..."

"No, Jack, if you try to get rid of them using the car, the only thing we will achieve is that they will continue to follow us or intercept us; we must leave this vehicle somewhere and escape.

"There is an entrance to the subway about a hundred meters from here; we can escape that way; the station is the subway," Jack suggested while turning the steering wheel.

That's what they did; they left the car on some nearby streets and ran to the subway.

"It looks like they have agents here too," Jack pointed out.

"A distraction," you suggested.

"What?"

You pulled him to you and kissed him just as the agents passed by you.

"The train is here," you said as they parted. You both boarded the carriage, and you both smiled when you noticed that the agents had stayed at the station.

"So, do you have anything to do Friday night?" Jack asked.

"I've got him busy with whatever plan we have," you replied.

Jack smirked; he had gotten what he wanted.
