You stopped looking in the mirror, you hated when they addressed you as a "vampire", you were not one of those beings, maybe you looked like one and had similar powers, but you did not consume blood, you could be in the sun without any problem, you also did not know any of the supposed abilities that vampires used to have you were a mutant.

You heard the rumours about what happened between the Inner Circle, the Morlocks, and the mutants of the underground, although you weren't sure whether to believe it. Many mutants believed that when crossing into Mexico they would be much safer, it was not so, it was simply easier to camouflage flair... as long as the X gene did not affect the physical. Not to mention that another danger was La Lunática, who had the same mutation as you, but the big difference was that she was evil, so if they avoided her, they would be safe.
