Jack had never known his family until he joined STRIKE.

He had never been able to understand the feelings that people sometimes expressed.

With the team, he shared and discovered new situations and sensations that he had never imagined in his life.

Now he tapped lightly on the wall of his cell. He had heard so many rumors that he didn't know what was real or not.

He was worried about where his "brother" Brock was; some people said he was dead, others said he had disappeared, and others said he was badly injured.

He had no way of checking; no one was going to help him. He knew right away when they put him in that damn place.

Jack had lost the family he found years ago; he was alone again.
