Steve sighed; now he understood Clint when he said it was hard to be Santa Claus; he had spent the whole week keeping you from finding your birthday present, although, of course, maybe he wasn't so good at having a hiding place.
Steve was beginning to suspect that you saw where he kept it, but really it had all been a coincidence since he had kept the gift box where you kept your stuff.
