So, I posted this first on my Tumblr.

It wasn't the first mission you and Steve had together, but this time it was a little different; it was the first time you were in a relationship.

Steve could sometimes be... he could be a bit bossy, and you were starting to get fed up with the exaggeration of his directions.

"Sweet pea, shut up," you said over the intercom, but you didn't realize that you were on the wrong channel; instead of using the private one, you used the team's one.

"Did Y/N just call the great Captain America a sweet pea?" Tony scoffed.

Steve snorted; he knew what it meant—he would have to put up with at least a month of Tony's taunts.

"Tony... shut up," Steve grumbled. He hoped no one else would comment on that.

You sighed, and then you'd buy him his favorite biscuits to make up for your absent-mindedness.
