Quinn woke up with Adelaide beside her. She kissed her forehead and got up from the bed. She walked over to the bathroom to shower. She washed her body, shaved, but she stayed in the shower a few extra minutes before climbing out. She dried herself off and changed into her clothes.

"Quinn?" Adelaide called from the bedroom. Quinn opened the door and saw her sitting on the bed, holding Quinn's phone. "Who's this 'UNKNOWN NUMBER' person?"

Quinn looked at Adelaide confused and walked over to her. She grabbed her phone, looking at the unknown number.

"Be prepared to put up a fight, might wanna learn how to as well. Or find a way not to die. Oh, who am I kidding? You're gonna die either way. See you on the battlefield, Quinn." Quinn read out loud.

"Wh-What is that supposed to mean?" Adelaide asked, fear evident in her voice.

"It's Evelyn. Do not trust anyone, and if something feels off, let everyone know." Quinn ordered Adelaide, and she nodded before Quinn walked out of the room.

After I got out of the shower, I still felt a bit woozy. Though, I don't understand how, since Oliver gave me vampire blood, so I should be healed.

Ady tells me about the UNKNOWN NUMBER and I hate how much fear Evelyn has instilled in us.

I walk down the stairs, but I stumble. Gripping the railing, my head starts to throb. I use my other hand and grip my head. I feel like I'm gonna collapse.

"A-Ady—" I whisper before collapsing to the ground.

When I wake, I'm in a pitch black room.

I stare at a shadow that gets closer to me. "Hello, Quinn." It speaks.

I try to move, but I can't. I can't move or speak. I can barely make out its face, but I soon recognize it as Evelyn.

"What's wrong? Can't move?" She fake-pouts before ripping the tape off of my mouth. I groan in pain as it feels like I was hit by a truck. "You can stand pain, right? Me and my family were having a little bit of...fun while you were unconscious." She explains with a fake wince as she looks at my body.
