A bright light shines against my eyelids, making me open my eyes. I groan lightly as I sit up, looking around. I'm extremely high off the ground. I stand up, noticing the white fluff that stands below me.
Am I...in the clouds?! What happened?
I try to wrack my brain for what happened, but all I remember is Ady's scream, a sharp pain in my neck, and then everything else in pitch black. I look behind me, seeing some type of wings. They're red and black.
Don't angels have white wings? Am I a fallen angel like Samael? That is his name, right?
Now is not the time to be talking about the devil's name, I scold myself. I take a deep breath before jumping off the cloud, falling heavily to the ground. Before I can hit the ground, my wings catch me and I slowly lower myself.
No one seems to notice me. Although, I wish to not be seen.
I transform, changing into a teenager in a gray, graphic tee, a black jacket, blue jeans with rips on the knees, and tennis shoes. The ends of my hair are a deep red, almost like crimson, and I honestly like it. I look out into the alleyway and notice some people giving me a look.
So they can see me now.
I take off, taking the familiar, narrow roads until the Mikaelson manor appears. I walk around, looking for an open window before finding one and jumping up, climbing inside.
Damn, these privileges are amazing.
I wonder if I can get in her head and fuck with her. Wait, I've already done that. I remember a weird dream. But now, I don't think it was a dream at all. I sent a warning, and she got it, yet she's taking it so...casually. It's pissing me off.
I can hear people talking as I hide behind the wall. "Something's here." A voice speaks. I can't quite pinpoint whose voice it is.
How long have I been dead?
I silently open a door, leading to the hallway and slide out. I quietly walk down the hallway until I'm pinned to the wall. "Who the hell are you?" I hear Oliver ask, his grip tightening around my neck.
"Wouldn't you like to know." I mutter breathlessly before kneeing him in the gut and kicking him down. Before any of the others can come to us, I run down the stairs, stopping at the spot where I last stood before my life was taken.
"What the hell are you doing here?" Klaus asks from behind me, but I don't budge. I stay staring before crouching, my hands skimming over the cold concrete.
"Where's Ady?" I ask, not looking up.
No one responds.
"Where is Adelaide?" I demand.
"How do you know her?" Oliver questions, walking down the stairs. I watch him through my peripheral vision.
