This is kinda a Nico solo chapter... but it's mega fluffy

Nico grabbed his scarf and coat from the rack and adorned himself in warm clothing in order to venture out into the cold. "I'm heading out!"

"To the city?" Will asked, peeking his head out of an ornately decorated cardboard box—er, magical inter dimensional spaceship. "That's at least a half hour away!"

Bianca popped her head out of the box as well. "Are you going to see Nonna Sofia and Nonno Gi?"

Will looked at him pointedly. "That little old Italian place that the Morettis own? They have pizza on Main Street."

Nico sighed. "It's not the same and you know that. They're good people and adore our entire family, Will." He lifted an envelope. "I was going to deliver our Christmas card to them while I was there."

Will caved. "Wish them happy holidays from me, ok? Oh, and cheese only on the pizza."

Nico smiled and grabbed his wallet and keys. "Of course."

"Drive safe!"

"I will!" Nico hurried to close the door. He unlocked Will's truck and started the engine, trying to start the heat.

A blast of hot air came rushing out of the vents, warming Nico. He sighed contently. "Alright, all ready to go."

He headed off to the center of Long Island, only turning the GPS on for the fastest route without traffic.

After a long and lonely drive, he parked and locked the truck in an all-too-familiar parking garage. He sighed to himself, preparing to walk fifteen more blocks in the icy cold.

Nico rubbed his hands together as he trekked down the sidewalk, avoiding mass crowds of tourists left behind from the New Year's celebration.

He finally stopped as he reached a small shop on the corner, the only attracting light was that of the small neon OPEN sign on the window. This was the place.

He pushed open the door, the small ding of a bell announcing his arrival. "Ciao a tutti!"

"Nico? Sei tu?" A small old woman hurried out from the curtain that led into the kitchen. She had her grey-white hair pinned back neatly into a bun, adorned with a small sparkly poinsettia pin for festivity sake.

"Sì, signora, sono qui."

(please note: all further interactions in italics and underline will be spoken in Italian, but I'm just typing it in English so everyone can read without rushing to google translate)

"Nico! It's so good to see you again!" She opened her arms to him. "Come here!"

Nico had to oblige and he felt her kiss him on either cheek. "How are you, Sofia? English improve?"

The woman just smiled. "Oh, you must think my memory is good in my old age!I can hardly remember where I put my glasses to read!"

"Ah, you'll get the hang of it." Nico smiled. "I did."

Sofia snapped her fingers. "Speaking of forgetting, I remembered something the other day and meant to tell you!" She grabbed a pad of paper from the counter. "I even wrote it down for you!"

"What is it?" Nico was intrigued. As the old woman flipped through the pad of paper, he saw a few English greetings sprawled out on the pages in neat cursive.
