Bianca gets into a teeny bit of trouble...
She's around 11-12, so she's a 6th grader

"Hello, this is Doctor Will Solace." Will picked up the buzzing cell phone from the coffee table, hidden under a stack of ungraded papers. The school he worked at had a half day, so he was home earlier than usual. "Sometimes referred to as Di Solace, depending on who you ask. How can I be of assistance on this fine afternoon?""Is this Bianca Di Solace's father?" The woman on the other side asked.
"One of them, yes. Why? Is something wrong?"
"There's been a bit of an incident with your daughter. She's sitting in the principal's office as we speak."
Will paused to curse silently away from the microphone. "Thank you so much. My husband and I will be there as soon as possible." He hung up quickly and called Nico.
Not even two rings went through before Nico picked up. "Hello?"
"Hey, babes. Did you get the phone call too?"
"I was just about to call you. I'm on my lunch break as we speak and I should be home in about seven minutes." Nico replied, and Will could hear the sound of the car turning on. He paused. "What do you think she did? She's a good kid."
Will sighed. "I'm praying it's some honor roll thing and they called the wrong parents."
"Me too. I'm turning the corner into our neighborhood now, so I'll see you in a second. Bye." Nico hung up, but stepped into the foyer moments later.
"To the principal's office we go?"
"Let's get this over with."
They hurried to Bianca's middle school and speedwalked to the front desk.
"Di Solace?" The woman at the desk asked, lowering her glasses.
"Yes. We're both her emergency contacts. You said something happened?" Nico leaned over the desk, anxiously pulling at his tie.
"No medical emergency. All I've heard is that there's been an issue. Sign in here and go to the first door on the right. Your daughter is there with the principal right now."
Each of them scribbled their signatures next to their printed names, showed their IDs, and proceeded to escort themselves to the principal's office.
There, sat the principal in her large desk. Her back was pin-straight and her dress was completely clean-cut and wrinkle free. Her hands were placed in front of her, clasped tightly.
Nico glanced at the shiny nameplate on the front left corner of the desk, which read her name: Ms. Canmore.
He then turned to the three chairs facing opposite her. In the center of the two, Bianca hunched over with her arms crossed across her chest. She didn't even look up when she heard the door open or when her father spoke.
"Hello, miss. I would say good afternoon but," Nico gestured to the uncomfortable situation in front of him, "it's clearly not."
"Mr. Di Solace." The principal nodded to him. She turned her attention to Will. "Mr. Di Solace."
"Doctor." Will corrected politely, looking down at his daughter. "Why are we here, exactly?"
"Please, sit."
The two of them sat on either side of their eldest.
"I called to meet with the two of you for some unruly behavior that your daughter displayed earlier today. She and a boy from her class got into a fight—a physical one at that."
