"Stop doing that."

"Doing what?"

"You're bouncing your leg more than usual. Your nervousness is making me nervous." Nico put his hand on his husband's knee. "Why are you so nervous?"

"I've never been overseas." Will bounced his other leg. "I've been all across the United States, but never to another country."

"Yet, you married an immigrant." Nico rested his head on Will's shoulder. "It's going to be alright. We both got our passports with us, and we packed everything we needed. Plus, you have a translator at hand at all times."

"I do?"

"Me. I'm here for all of your Italian needs."

Will glanced around the airport, people-watching. "Is Venice nice? I mean, we looked at all of the photos when we booked stuff, but you're from there. Is it as nice as people say it is?"

Nico bit his lip. I hardly remember, he wanted to say. I moved when I was so young...and the Lotus...

"It's even more wonderful than the photos." He replied instead. "You're going to love it there."

Will took a deep breath through his nose. "Ok...wait, does being from Italy make you more Roman-aligned than Greek-aligned?" He gasped and playfully punched Nico in the arm. "Traitor."

"I mean, Romans are originally from Rome. I'm Venetian."

"Right." Will smiled slyly. "How exotic."

"Shush. You're making it weird." Nico said, though the blush creeping up his neck said otherwise.

"So...you know how you said that you were there for all of my Italian needs?"

"Please don't make me regret that statement."

"What if I needed a certain Italian lover to kiss me?"

"Then I, as the Italian, would need to oblige to your request."

"NOW BOARDING: FLIGHT 92841. NEW YORK TO VENICE."

Nico kissed Will quickly and stood up. "Ready?"

"That wasn't a real kiss." Will frowned and stood up.

"We're stuck next to each other for the next twelve hours. You have twelve hours of kisses, if you don't fall asleep." Nico stuck his hand out. "Deal?"

Will shook it firmly. "Deal."

Will Di Solace slept for the entire flight. Nico slept for-at most-an hour before waking up and using the remaining eleven hours to binge Italian soap operas and consume an unhealthy amount of airplane snacks.

"Will." Nico gently shook him awake. "We're about to land."

Will opened his eyes slightly, squinting and wiping the drool off his face. "Hm?"

"Sleep well?"

He yawned. "How long was I asleep for?"

"Basically the entire flight. You passed out and I ate the last of your cookies."

"Jerk."

"Hey, at least you won't have jetlag when we land, since you slept through the time zone change."

"Watcha watchin' there?" Will pointed to the little screen.

"Telenovela." Nico offered one side of his earbuds to his husband. "Do you want to finish the episode with me?"
