Chapter 7

George woke up an hour later to find the pups still sleeping in the room and that he was still alone. He got up from the chair and went downstairs to find that his mate and brother-in-law were on the sofa. "Hi guys." "Hi," his mate greeted with a small smile. "We didn't want to disturb you."

He sat in between his mate and his brother-in-law on the sofa and talked. "So, what have I missed?" "Nothing," Aaron softly replied. "Kira showed me where her father was and when we got back you were asleep in the pups' room. We just didn't want to wake you up." "Thanks, but you should've woken me up." "No. Get your sleep while you can." "I'm sure that you'll be in my position when you're older." "Yeah." "What would you like?" "A daughter." "Maybe I can see your future. May I?"

George held his hand out to Aaron and he placed his hand in his brother in laws hand. George then saw a vision.

Once the vision ended four minutes later, he felt Kira's arms around him. "I've got you." He turned to face her when she saw a smile on his face. "What did you see?" He turned to face his brother-in-law again and said, "twins. Girls." "That sounds nice Aaron." That's when he began to speak.

"What about a boy? You need a boy so he can take over the pack, don't you?" Kira then replied, "yes, but you could adopt a son." "I don't know Kira." "You have plenty of time to think about it. You're only fifteen." "I'll take it as it comes." "That's all you can do brother."

When it was time for dinner a few hours later, Kira's mother was finishing the cooking. "How much longer mum?" Aaron asked impatiently. "Please be patient." She then looked at her daughter and son in law. "Sorry. He's like this all of the time." "I am not." The two mates chuckled and Kira told her it was fine.

Once they ate, Kira went upstairs when she heard the pups crying. She walked into their room, carefully picked them up and sat in the chair as she then prepared to feed them.

There was then a knock on the door. George answered it and saw his family there. "Hi mum, dad and Steve." "Hi," his father greeted back. "We hope you don't mind, but the rest of the family are here." "Sure. Come in." Everyone walked into the house and was shocked to see Kira's mother and brother.

Everyone greeted them with a smile but Aaron wasn't sure about them. Claire walked towards him and introduced herself. "Hi, I'm Claire. I'm Georges' cousin." "Nice to meet you. I'm Aaron, his brother-in-law." "So now I have another cousin in law." "I guess so." "We'll get along just fine. Meet my brother Christian."

They talked for twenty minutes when George and Kira began to look drowsy. George kindly told everyone that they had to leave as he needed to rest for work the next day. They smiled and thanked him for having them over before leaving. All but Steve that was. "Dad said I could stay." "You don't have to do that Steve. But I can't argue. Make yourself at home on the sofa." "Thanks."

After an hour, Steve was asleep while he was on his side. Kira suddenly walked down the stairs wearing her pastel blue dressing gown. "Are you coming to bed?" He looked to her and nodded before looking at his brother again. He then stood up before whispering, "sleep well Steve."

The two walked up the stairs and checking on the pups before returning to their room. "I still can't believe he's my brother Kira." "It may take a while before you get fully used to it." "I know. It's still a shock. I still need to talk to my boss about seeing if he can give Steve a job." "I'm sure he will."

The next day, George arrived at work when he suddenly saw his manager arrive. "Howard?" "Yes George?" "Can we have a talk in your office please?" "Of course. Let's go inside." They walked inside of the store and walked to the manager's office.
