When George woke up four hours later, due to a bad dream. Kira was undisturbed and when he saw that she was still asleep, he smiled and went to check on the pups. When he got there, he sat on the chair and leaned back so he could keep an eye on them for a while. Chris and Zander were there for him and got him a drink of water. "Thanks guys." They nodded and returned to their duty. He then looked to the twins and felt like holding them for a while, but he didn't want to wake them.

He settled on just watching them just as he heard footsteps approaching the bedroom door. He heard the warriors mention the rank of his mate. When she entered the room, she saw him in the chair.

"Hi," she whispered. "Hi," he replied with a whisper. "What's wrong?" "Bad dream. I thought I'd stay with the pups for a little while. I didn't wake you did I?" "No. I just woke up and saw that you weren't next to me, so I thought you'd be here." "I'll be fine." "Was it about the pups?" He nodded.

"I know they're safe here, but I wanted to make sure." "It's fine. You could wake me up so we could talk." "I know, but you need to sleep." "Your sleep is important as well." He sighed and closed his eyes. "Come back to bed." "I'll stay with the pups for a little longer." "Then I'm staying with you." She sat on the arm of the chair and rested her head on his shoulder. "You don't have to. I'll come back to bed, I just want to be here for a few more minutes." They kissed before Kira returned to her room where she waited for her mate.

George began to close his eyes and more footsteps were approaching the pups room. When the door opened, it revealed Steven. "Alpha?" he gently asked. He saw that his eyes were fully closed. He quietly approached him and lifted him into his arms. He then carried him to his room where Kira was waiting for him. "Luna, he's asleep." "Thanks Steven." "Is there anything I can get for you?" "No thanks."

Steven then gently placed George onto the bed and pulled the cover over his chest before leaving the bedroom. Kira looked to her mate and gave him a gentle kiss on his cheek before resting her head on his chest and falling asleep.

When the morning arrived, George woke up to his mate still sleeping next to him as her head remained on his chest. He wrapped his arm around her waist and woke her up with a soft kiss on her forehead. She stirred and slowly opened her eyes.

"Good morning Kira." "Good morning." "You're so beautiful when you're asleep." "Thanks. You were really tired last night." "I just wanted to make sure." "I know. Steven checked on you and brought you to bed." "I'll talk to him." "Can it wait until you've finished work today?" "Yes, but I want to thank him." "He knows." "I know that, but I'd like to let him know that I appreciate it."

George then proceeded to get ready for work after he got up and had some breakfast. He kissed his family goodbye and left to pick up his brother so they could get to work.

Kira then called her mother and asked if she wanted to visit and she was more than happy visit and she said that she would let Aaron go with her.

When they arrived, Aaron looked to his niece and nephew and he smiled at them. Kira let him hold them and told him that he was doing a great job. He was happy that his sister was letting him hold the pups. He would have his own one day and by doing that, he was already getting some practice.

Claire and Christian were together in the garden during the sunny weather. They felt sorry for their uncle and cousins since they all worked in the office. They were sat on the garden bench and all they did was talk to each other while their parents watched them by the back door.

"It's nice to see them spending time together Jack." "It is Janet." "That's why I wanted two pups. When Christian was born, I didn't want him to be growing up alone. It took a few years because of the age we had Christian, but I'm glad we have Claire for him. They're supporting each other and that's what matters." "Yeah." "I couldn't stop thinking about how you would've treated Claire if you were still evil." "That doesn't matter anymore. George helped me thanks to Jonathan, and I'll never forget it."
