Chapter 1

George Stevens just heard his mate Kira say that she was pregnant. She waited to hear his response, but all he did was faint. "George?" She approached him while his father checked him using his wolf Samuel. "He'll be fine. It sometimes can come as a shock. Are you sure?" "Yes, I'm sure. I just took a pregnancy test. It's positive." "Congratulations." "Thanks dad." She looked to her mate and saw how pale he had become. He suddenly opened his eyes and looked at his mate. "I just had a weird dream that Kira was pregnant." She knelt beside him and said, "I am. It wasn't a dream. You just passed out." "I'm going to be a dad."

He didn't know how to feel. "Why don't we help you onto the sofa and we can tell everyone about our trip to Paris?" He nodded as he stood up and Kira helped him in case he fainted again. When they were sat on the sofa, everyone listened to Kira talk about their trip after George's father gave him a glass of water. "Thanks dad." "We stayed at the hotel when we got there, and this one here fell asleep." "That was you. We got to the hotel and we spoke some words that we already knew, and we learned some more phrases and went to sleep. The next day we visited the Eiffel tower and it was quite a beautiful view."

George smiled and listened to his mate. "The last night was the best. We went back to the Eiffel tower and watched the sunset together. The view is beautiful." George's mother then looked at her werewolf husband and asked, "Jack, can we go to Paris when you get time off of work?" "We'll see Jane. I have to save up a lot of money." "I'll help. I'll see what I can do about getting a job." "Jane." "No Jack. I haven't worked at all. Not even after I became a mother." "And what do we do about Bethany?" Mike then said, "we can look after her Jack." He looked to his friend and said, "I don't want to ruin any plans you have."

Mike then said, "Jonathan doesn't mind. He said if you need Bethany to stay with us or a couple of us with her with some warriors, then he doesn't mind." "That's great. That would put Jane's mind at ease." Bethany then entered the room with a couple of warriors. "What did I miss?" "Your brother has some good news. Would you like to know what it is?" She nodded and walked towards her big brother. "You're going to be an auntie soon." "I am?" "Yes. Kira and I are going to be parents." "Do you know what you're having yet?" Kira looked at her with soft eyes and said, "no, not yet. It's very early, but when we get to the scan when we know the gender, we'll let you know."

Kira then gipped and everyone looked at her. "What's wrong?" her father in law asked. She gipped again and he quickly took her to the bathroom where she was then sick in the toilet. "I'm here Kira." He held her hair back and waited until she finished. Kira's eyes suddenly watered and her father in law noticed. "Kira?" "Sorry dad. I think it's with the pup." "Don't apologise. It's normal. You're emotional through pregnancy." "What if it is twins?" "Then it will be nine months and you'll be more emotional and hungrier."

After a few hours, Kira was in bed and fast asleep and George was awake in bed as he watched his mate sleep. She made a quiet sound and was silent again. He continued to watch her when his eyes suddenly began to droop close and his head then hit the pillow and was asleep in no time.

After four hours, George turned onto his side in his sleep and Kira suddenly woke up and sat up. "Luna?" one of the warriors asked her. "I'm fine. I just felt a little twinge in my stomach." "Can we get you anything?" "No thanks." She turned to face her mate and saw that he was sleeping well. She smiled and got out of bed. She held her stomach as she made her way out of the bedroom and down the stairs. The warriors downstairs watched their Luna walk into the kitchen and saw her open the fridge.

Kira then began to eat some yogurts from the fridge. "Luna?" one of the warriors asked as they watched her eat all of the yogurts. "What?" "Why don't you save some for alpha?" "I'm afraid they're all gone." "I think it's because it's your pregnancy." She then returned her attention to the fridge and grabbed some cheese, that's when George suddenly woke up. He saw that his mate wasn't by his side, so he got out of bed and went downstairs, only to find some warriors by the kitchen door. "What's going on?" "Luna is in there eating." "Then let her eat." "Alpha, you don't understand. Look." When he got to the door, he saw that the contents of the fridge being taken out and eaten.
