Julian and Sophia began to talk after a few weeks after they were walking on their own. "Kira?" George began. "I'm glad we have them." "So am I." A knock on the front door interrupted them. Kira answered it to see her parents in law. "We know they're talking," her father-in-law started. "I sensed it in George's mind." "Ok. Come inside."
When they walked into the living room, they saw the twins on the sofa. "Mama," the twins happily said to her the moment they saw her return to the room. "Hi," she sweetly greeted. She sat next to them, and George smiled at her as he held Julian on his lap. "How's fatherhood going?" "Wonderful. How's motherhood?" "Exhausting. But it's worth it."
George smiled at her reply. "I just realised something George." "What's that?" "You're twenty now. We didn't celebrate." "We were busy helping you while you were carrying the pups. Don't worry about it." "I will. I'm throwing a party." "Fine, but you really don't need to." "Too bad. I just mind linked everyone and they're getting what we need for a party. We'll invite your cousins as well as your friends." "They're your friends as well." "I know. Let's get ready."
After four hours, everyone had arrived at the pack house to join in the belated party of the alpha. George held Sophia in his arms while Kira held Julian. "I can't believe they're beginning to talk." "I know. How are you enjoying the party?" "I'm enjoying it. I have to say that it's better than the last one." "Why?" "After what happened with Rosie...this is the best one I've had so far."
Kira smiled. "I'm glad this birthday is better for you." "It's my first birthday with you and the pups. I love everything about today." "Good." "I'm glad I have you three to celebrate with." Kira then had an idea. "Let's go to the living room. I have a surprise for you." He looked surprised.
When they got to the living room, George saw his family and friends standing before him. "Surprise!" He smiled. "Thanks everyone." Everyone wished him a happy birthday, including his cousin who shared the same birthday as him. "Hi cousin." "Hi. We feel awful about your birthday." "Don't worry about it. Like everyone said, I was more concerned about Kira and the pups at the time."
Christian arrived with Claire and helped with the party and Claire knew that it would cheer him up if she shared the party with her cousin.
When it turned dark, the pups were upstairs sleeping while everyone else were enjoying the party. "We know it's been difficult for you son, just enjoy the party," his father told him with a smile. "I am enjoying it dad. A nice family party. Thank you." "No problem son. Claire felt that it was right to have one with you since you were busy preparing for the pups and working so hard."
George suddenly had a vision and his cousins noticed it as well as his twin.
"We've got you bro." Steve helped him to get to the sofa with his cousins and sat next to him. "What do you see?" Bethany then approached them and asked what was wrong. Christian told her that her brother was having a vision. She then sat on the opposite side of her brother and told him she was there for him.
Once out of the vision, George closed his eyes. Bethany became worried. "He'll be fine," Christian reassured her. He then turned to face his cousin and saw him open his eyes.
"Hey cousin. You had a vision. Take it slow." He slowly sat up when Kira approached them. "Vision?" Claire nodded to her, and she crouched down in front of him. "How are you feeling?" "Not good." "Do you want everyone to leave?" "No. I want everyone to have a good time." "They are. Do you want me to get mum and dad?" "No. I don't need them to worry."
Just then, the two parents approached everyone. "What's going on son?" "I had a vision dad. It's nothing." "It's something. Not nothing. Guys, let me and your aunt Jane help him. You enjoy the rest of the party."
