Devin gave a light laugh.

"Nothing, I need to go. I have to get things ready for my trip," Devin said, taking the condom off and pulling up his boxer briefs and pants.

Natalia stared at him in awe. She had one of the hottest guys in her town.....he was gorgeous. Tall, dark, with long jet black locs, an amazing body and beautiful hazel eyes that stared through your soul. She never thought that she would date a guy like him...a book smart, nerdy guy. After seeing Devin for the first time freshman year, all that went out the window.

He ignored her advances until Junior year. When the opportunity came around after he and his track star girlfriend Tasha broke up, it was time for Natalia to make her move......again. But this time she didn't use her usual flirty personality and sex appeal, that never got his eye before. She started to talk to him about classical music, which she heard he loved. "A trip? Where?" she asked.

"Staying with a relative for the summer."

Natalia lit her cigarette, which Devin hated. His brows furrowed and she put the cigarette back out.

"Yeah about that.....I think we should just be friends. I'm going away to college after the summer and you're doing whatever it is you're doing. I think we should focus on ourselves and live our lives to the fullest.....single."

Usually he'd go in the bathroom and clean off, but waiting until he got home seemed to be a better idea. Devin didn't know how she would react after what he just said and deep down he really didn't care as long as she didn't get violent.

Natalia sat up with a surprised look...then she laughed.

Uh oh.....I think she's about to lose it.

She grabbed one of the pillows next to her and threw it at Devin hitting him directly in the face. He didn't react, he just continued putting on his shirt and sneakers. She sat there as her face began to get red, her eyes started to sting from the tears beginning to form.

With that being said in her mind she snapped back to herself.

She blinked back her tears. "Ok, well thanks for the goodbye fuck and make sure you lock the door on your way out. Oh and lose my number," she said as she flung her blonde hair over her shoulders.

Devin watched as she went into her on-suite bathroom, not looking back.

This is the reaction he sort of expected and wanted from her. She almost had him worried for a second. Natalia's ego is too big to admit she's upset about breaking up. He smiled and made his way out of her house, locking the door like she asked. This was going to be a fun summer.
