The next day was Devin's birthday and also the day before he was going back home. He was looking forward to the upcoming week before heading to college. There were a few more things for him to get done, but it was no worries.

Devin woke up to a barrage of text messages and missed calls. Soon his phone rang again....

"Hello Mother," Devin answered with a big smile on his face.

"Happy birthday, my baby! How's everything going?"

He chuckled at her, still calling him her baby.

"Thanks. Everything is going great. I'll be home tomorrow, which I'm sure you know already." Devin continued walking around the room getting his belongings packed away for his flight early in the morning.

"Yes, I know. I think your father has something planned for you."

"Yeah, like what?" Devin was curious....his father was planning something for him....no way. That's usually his mother's forte.

"Well, he didn't tell me. He wants it to be a surprise," she answered. Devin laughed, knowing his mom would definitely tell him and ruin the surprise.

"Oh and Sophia came by and dropped you off a gift. She's such a sweet girl."

Mmmm, tight kitty Sophie....I wonder what she got you. I would rather she give you the gift of smashing her cherry.

It's popping her cherry, Ollie.

I know the saying dumbass....come on, this big dick would do way more than cherry popping.

Whatever. You don't know if she's a virgin or not.

She is.....I smell wet pussy and fear when she's around you, hehehe. You should see how loud you can make her scream.

Negative. Now cut it out, Mom is still talking.

Oh yeah, my bad.....

"Devin, did you hear me?" Monique asked.

"Uh, I'm sorry Mother, can you repeat that?"

"Are you going to your cousin's pool party when you come back?" She asked.

Oh boy....I don't like being around her bougie ass friends. Please say no, Dev.

"Yeah, of course."

Tch...pussy. You really go out your way to make me miserable.

Devin held in his laugh at Ollie's response.

Jania was his older cousin only by a year and yes she and her friends were an acquired taste...but their uppity attitudes didn't bother Devin. He said his goodbyes to his mom, took a shower and dressed for the day.

Aunt Honey was planning to treat him at his favorite restaurant, Quartets. She did this every year for his birthday and they always had a great time. They served all different types of Carribean Island dishes, with a dash of fancy added to them. The atmosphere was expensive, classy and tasteful.

Once inside the restaurant, they were greeted by the hostess, who wore a form fitting red dress. Her hair was pinned up neatly and her lips were shiny with gloss. They sat in their usual booth and began to order their beverages. Devin, strawberry lemonade and Aunt Honey a Martini.

A man with slicked back hair, wearing a dark blue suit, approached their table.

"Hello, Honey. I'm sorry to interrupt, but when I noticed it was you I had to come over and say hello," the gentlemen spoke, grabbing her hand and touching it with his lips.

"Calvin, it's so wonderful to see you. I can't really chat right now being that I'm spending time with my nephew before he leaves tomorrow. I hope you do understand," she answered.

"Oh absolutely. I'll wait as long as you need me to. Enjoy your evening." The man walked away.

Devin could see the uneasiness in Honey's reaction. He wondered who that man was to her.

"Is everything ok Auntie?" Devin asked.

"Of course. What made you ask that?"

Devin drank some of his lemonade. "You looked a little shaken when that man walked up. That's not like you."

"Boy, how would you know what I'm like? I'm fine and it's none of your concern. We are celebrating you today...that's all you need to worry about."

"No need to be rude, Auntie. I'm young...not stupid. I know about a lot more than just numbers. But if you want me to play naive....so be it," Devin answered, then looked at his phone. Honey's eyes widened at his response, he has never spoken to her like that...but she's never done the same either.

The rest of the dinner went as planned, Honey offered to take Devin anywhere else that he wanted, but he was no longer in the mood. They went home and he got in bed to get ready for his flight in the morning.

In the middle of the night he was awakened out of his sleep....

Dev! Wake up! Someone is in the room.

Devin woke and turned the bedside lamp on. To his surprise Honey was sitting in a chair in the corner of the room. She looked like she was drinking heavily, she lit a Marlboro black then began speaking.

"Nephew, play me one of those pretty songs you always play." She sat in the chair and looked at the piano in his room.

Devin got up, sat at the piano and began playing Beethoven's Fur Elise. Honey closed her eyes enjoying the sound the piano keys made. She was so happy she got the piano for him to play when he visited.

After a while, she began talking. "I'm sure you know profit has been low at Begonia for a while. That gentleman is a contractor who wants to buy my business, so they can put some fast food chain in its place. And he also owns a call girl service too....so it would be killing two birds with one stone. Getting contract money and getting rid of his competition."

Devin continued to play. "Well profits are low...you can sell and get a nice amount of money to retire."

"Yeah, I figured you would say that. Begonia is more than just a business to me, it's my pride and joy, my life. Begonia is my motivation for getting up every morning and living life to the fullest."

"And you're not ready to let that go.....I understand. You worked hard to make Begonia successful." Devin stopped playing, he could see the hurt in her eyes.

"Hopefully, I can find someone that'll love her as much as I do."

"I'm sure you will, Auntie." Devin went over to her and gave her a hug and felt her tears wet his t-shirt.

This was the first time he's ever seen her cry. He loved his Aunt Honey and was happy she felt safe enough to let it all out.

He was sure she would find the answer to her problem, if not....he would.
