It's been a month and no Ollie. I'm really starting to freak out. He's never been away from me this long, only when I was on medication. I talked to him everyday and still nothing. Even tried his favorite pastime....having sex and still nothing. Dr. Howard continued the test on me but everything went back to normal. Was he gone for good?
I sat in my bed and took care of some work on my laptop. I even forgot about missing Ollie...maybe this wasn't so bad after all. I closed my laptop and quickly went to sleep. There she appeared again, the old lady with the white hair.
"He's not your friend, he's a demon. He wants to take you to the demon realm with him and live there forever."
Before I could say anything, I was awakened by a splash of water to my face. My eyelids feel heavy as I tried to open my eyes.
"What? Where am I?" I said, looking around the blurriness surrounding me.
The cold concrete floor laid under my bare feet and my hands were tied behind my back.
Is this a dream? Damn, I forgot Ollie was gone. My heart started pounding harder in my chest, the panic was taking over my breathing. All I could see was figures....then I heard a voice.
"The infamous Devin Davis, the brains behind sweet Begonia. You sure got you a gold mine there, boy. But It seems you need to learn the rules here in Vegas. You're an out-of-towner, so I don't expect you to know how we do things here."
I still couldn't see who was talking. But the panic I once felt was no longer there. My body relaxed and I felt like I was high. My head tilted back.
"Got dammit, Earl. How much of that shit did you give him earlier?"
"I didn't give him that much."
I felt someone grab my shirt, shaking me. I lifted my head forward, eyelids still heavy.
"Are you listening to me, boy?"
I looked up. "Who is me?
There was a laugh. "Your worst nightmare. Now for the inconvenience you've caused me by cancelling my membership....I want 40% of Begonia's profit and total access to all the girls, whenever and however I want."
"Not going to happen."
"I don't think you understand....this isn't up for negotiation. As a matter of fact...let's make it 50%."
Laughter left my body, echoing the dark space. Then a fist collided with my face. I felt numb and unafraid, ready for whatever they had planned next. I realized who was talking.
I spit the blood out of my mouth. "Not going to happen, Stonewell."
Another hit to the face causes me to fall out of the chair. My vision was blurred from the blood and sweat getting into my eyes. A boot kicked me in my stomach...then ribs. Fuck! That really hurt!......the pain sent a jolt through my body and I curled into myself.
"I think you knocked him out," a voice said followed by laughter.
I stayed still hoping that the appearance of me being unconscious would ward off more hits. Then I felt someone standing over me. I didn't feel safe opening my eyes to see who it was so I continued staying still and kept my eyes closed.
Kick your leg forward, Dev.
Oh shit! Ollie you're back.
I didn't even question him, I kicked forward and a loud snap and yell echoed in the air. I felt the rope around my wrist give and I jumped up swinging at anyone that approached me. My movements didn't feel like my own and I welcomed every hit, kick and swing that came from my body.
"What the hell are y'all doing?! Get him!" Stonewell yelled in frustration.
I heard a few clicks that only could come from guns. Without even thinking, I made the guns bend back towards the shooters and they panicked, dropping them to the ground. I felt a surge through my body and all the men went flying towards the concrete walls. My eyes focused on the man now cowering in front of me.
"W-What the hell are you, kid?" Stonewell stared at me in fear.
I answered. "Your worst nightmare."

After beating the crap out of Stonewell, I took his keys and went looking for the car that belonged to them. Thankfully, after one press of the car remote, a black SUV parked directly in front of the warehouse, headlights began to blink. When I got closer to where I lived I parked the SUV a few blocks away then made my way home on foot....literally. My bare feet touched the hallway carpet and I noticed my door was still cracked open from when they kidnapped me but everything else was untouched.
The next morning, I immediately went to get new locks, security cameras and sensors put in my place. I talked to the door man and was told, front desk security didn't show up last night for some reason.....yeah, of all nights he picks the night they kidnap me. I already got a feeling Stonewell had something to do with that.
Ollie, where did you go?
I was rejuvenating myself....why? Did you miss me?
Rejuvenating? Yeah, of course I missed you. I was starting to think I was on my own for good.
Nah, I was just evolving that's all.
I need you to tell me what that all means. You were gone for a few months. What really happened to you?
What happened last night is what happened to me...well actually you, because I am a part of you. I guess I can say my skills have matured some more.
After changing the locks on my door, I sat at the kitchen counter listening to Ollie. On my laptop, I entered the updated security system code. It never crossed my mind that opening up Begonia would put my life or the girls in danger, but I know better now and was ready to protect what was mine.
The energy I felt last night was amazing and I could feel it surging through my body and wanted more. Also, I was consciously aware the whole time Ollie took over my body, that made me very happy. Stonewell and his men met some bad endings but it was much deserved.
So your skills have matured? That's awesome...I'm just happy you're back, Ollie. I missed you.
I knew you would, hahaha. And correction.... OUR skills have matured.
