Ericson stood outside the Spiritual Realm gates waiting to be let inside. He wanted to see Mina and start his courting of her becoming his. She was slightly on his radar prior to Devin arriving in the Demon Realm but knowing he's touched her first made Ericson want her more.

None of the Demon King's sons had to work hard at getting females of any species, they literally fell in their laps. But of course Mina being the princess of the Spiritual Realm carried a certain type of moral decorum that no other Queen or Princess abided by. All other women were accessible to the Demon King's sons...all.

His greatest goal is to become ruler of the Spiritual Realm. This accomplishment would be embedded in his legacy and be talked about for many decades and centuries to come.

Mina, one of the Demon King's sons, is here....

Why would he come here?

"Your highness, Sir Ericson is here to see you."

Mina stood up in confusion but didn't want to be rude to her unexpected guest. She walked into the main room to meet him.

Ericson stood tall and handsome with a perfectly fitted black suit and neatly cut silky jet black hair. He smiled as she came into his presence.

"Hello, Princess. You look beautiful as always." He kissed her hand.

She blushed, surprising herself and Tangela.

"Hello, thank you for your kind words. What brings you to the Spiritual Realm?"

A bouquet of bright colorful roses began to appear in his hand.

"To see you, of course. I wanted to ask if you would have dinner with me?"

Mina looked into his green eyes. "Dinner with you?"

"I know it's last minute but I didn't want to miss the opportunity to be in your presence. I'll understand if you decline but I hope that won't be the outcome."

Ericson gave her the flowers and she instantly smelled their lovely scent.

"These are gorgeous....Thank you."

"You can thank me by saying yes..." He leaned down and kissed her cheek.

"Okay." She began to blush.

What?! Mina are you sure?

Ericson smiled. "Great...I'll be here at dawn. You won't be disappointed, Princess Mina." He kissed her hand again.

Once he was gone, Mina smelled the flowers again then realized what she just did.

"Oh no, I just agreed to go to dinner with Ericson....What will my mother say?"

"She would say go and have fun."

Mina turned to see her mother smiling at her.

"Wait...you're okay with me dating one of the Demon King's sons?"

"Yes, I realized that you are your own woman and I want you to be with who you like. Besides, all the sons are powerful men in their own right, so why not."

"Mommy, thank you for trusting my judgment."

"I have to eventually, you're the future Queen of the Spiritual Realm and you're also very smart, Mina. I know you'll do what's best for our Kingdom."

Mina hugged her mother and walked away smelling her flowers. She began to get excited for her date with Ericson.

Gela, what should I wear?

There was silence...

Are you there? Where are you Gela?

There was nothing. Mina began to get a little worried, her guardian angel never went away from her....ever.
