I turned off the news after looking for more updates on Devin's murder case. Last I saw, he was admitted to the hospital for attempted suicide and that made me smile.

He was suffering and I was enjoying every minute of it. Hopefully, they will make his trial public so I could attend and watch him go down in flames. My fiance, Dino, was a very rich man and I was going to convince him to buy Begonia once Devin is sentenced.

Then I will have full control over his livelihood.

One night when I was at my lowest with a needle in my arm, a young woman came into my dream, telling me how she was done wrong by Devin. She also knew what I had been through with him. He treated us both like throw-aways and that poor girl took her own life because of it..

We bonded and my life began to take a different turn after that. I got clean and found a job as a secretary at a law office. Soon I met Dino and the rest was history.

Sophie changed my life and I was going to get revenge for the way Devin treated her and myself. She asked me to take care of his parents and she would do the rest. Him being charged with their murders was absolutely delicious.

"Hey, are you still not ready yet?" Dino asked.

I smiled. "I'm sorry honey, I wanted to look good for you so it's taking a little longer than expected."

He walked out the room and I continued to get dressed. I had so much to choose from and looked good in everything I wore. The black dress seemed appropriate and I grabbed it off the rack.

Looking in the mirror, I smiled at myself. I finally was living the life I deserved and couldn't be any happier.

"Hello, Ms. Peters."

My heart dropped at the familiar voice. In the mirror I saw Devin Davis standing in the distance behind me. My whole body began to shake as he walked closer to me. I quickly turned around but he wasn't there. I looked back into the mirror and his reflection now stood right in front of me.

"You look lovely, Amber."

His hazel eyes stared into me and I hated that his compliment made me weak. I too only wanted him to love me or at least talk to me when I was at Begonia.

"This isn't real....you are in the hospital."

"Come closer and see if I'm real..."

I wanted to step forward but I shook my head, then I felt hands wrap around me. Looking in the mirror it was Devin....touching me. Many dreams I had of this happening even when he was mean to me.

"I'm sorry if you felt unwanted, Ms. Peters."

His lips brushed against my shoulder and I felt my knees buckle. Devin held on to me tight and as he kissed my neck, I felt my tears wet my cheeks.

"W-What are you doing?"

"Apologizing for not seeing how beautiful you are. Can I make it up to you, Amber?"

His lips on my neck feel so amazing...I don't want him to stop.

Ericson stared at Mina as she got him something to drink. This was their fourth date. Dating in the human world made more sense, since Mina spent the majority of her time there.

"Here you go." She handed him his drink and he smiled.

"Thank you. You look really beautiful tonight."

"Oh...thank you." Mina blushed again.

Ericson put his hand on her thigh, moving closer to her. He yearned to finish what he started on their last date, before she froze up. He wanted to make sure that he took his time and got her warmed up first.

He's getting a little too close, Mina. You remember what happened the last time you two were together. Please be mindful of what he is doing.

Mina brought back her focus. "Oh, I'm sorry, what did you say?"

He immediately began to kiss her neck and like Tangela expected, Mina froze in fear.

"Um...Ericson...y-you should stop."

Mina's voice began to shake as his hand went up her shirt. Ericson pulled her closer ignoring her words.

I'm going to have to take over.

Soon the news came on and Mina's focus was taken back away from Ericson.

"Updates on the investigation for the double murders of Trent and Monique Davis, who was allegedly killed by their son Devin Davis, is now at a stand still."

Mina pushed Ericson off of her listening to the T.V. Her heart sank, seeing Devin's mug shot on the screen.

"Davis has recently been sent to Glendale Hospital for his recent suicide attempt. No further details have been released at this time."

Mina stood up. "Oh my goodness! I have to make sure he is okay."

"He's fine, Mina. Sit down."

"How do you know he's fine? Have you spoken to or seen him?"

Ericson kept his annoyance from showing. "I've seen him, he's actually resting."

"Oh."

"Now....where were we?" Ericson got up and grabbed her waist and put his lips back on her neck.

"Do you think we can go see him?"

"What?"

"I want to see him for myself and make sure he is okay."

"Mina, we are on a date and I'm trying to get to know you better. Please don't ruin this."

Mina moved away from him and she was now determined more than ever to see Devin.

Why am I even on this date with Ericson anyway when I'm in love with Devin?

Tangela smiled at Mina's thoughts while Ericson's frustration now began to show on his face.

"Mina, if you stop our date to go see him...I'm done."

"Okay. Thank you for a wonderful evening and please make sure you lock my door on your way out...Thanks Ericson."

Mina smiled then opened a portal to the Underworld and walked through. Ericson shook his head....
