Spencer's POV
I finally arrived at my comfort spot. No, it was not a bar. I can't deal with alcohol or drugs, because it's what killed my dad. It was in fact the park in my neighborhood. I sat on one of the swings and silently thought about my day. Right when I get the courage to tell her how I feel, Jace is making his move on her."Why would Samara let Jace put his arm around her waist?" I thought to myself. It just doesn't make any sense.
"Hello." A little girl, probably around the age of 7 came up to me.
"Hi sweetie." I gave her a small, pained smile.
"Are you ok Mr? I was on the slide and looked over here and saw you looking down." She tilted her head, with a cute little pout.
"Eh, it's ok. I'm all good." I forced a smile.
"Are you sure Mr?" She asked again.
"Yeah, it's all good. I just miss my friend." I told her.
"Is it girl problems?" She tilted her cute little head again.
"You know, you're very smart for someone your age." I smiled, giving her the answer.
"Thanks sir." She gave me a toothy grin.
"Haha." I chuckled at her politeness.
"Just call me Spencer." I put my hand out and she shook it.
"You know, your girlfriend is very lucky right? You're very kind." She gave me a very big smile.
"Why thank you sweetie." I laughed and decided not to correct her on Samara being my girlfriend.
"Is she your princess and are you her prince." She gave me a interested look.
"Oh, I wish, but she is kinda mad at me right now." I gave her a sad look.
"Oh. I'm sorry Spencer." She gave me a sad grin.
"It's alright. Now, let's go find your parents, ok? What's your name honey?" I kindly asked.
"My name is Charlotte." She smiled.
"Alright Charlotte, let's go find your parents." I grabbed ahold of her puny hand and walked with her.
We walked around for about 5 minutes, until she pointed at a worried looking couple and started to jump up and down.
"That's them! That's them!" She clapped her hands together, like Dora would.
"Ok, let's go." I grabbed her hand and walked her over.
"Hello. Mrs. Mr. I think I found your daughter." I gave them a small smile.
"Oh, sir, thank you so much." Charlotte ran to her mother as her father came and gave me a small handshake.
"Of course." I shook his hand.
"Don't ever run away again." Her mother told her and then gave her a huge hug.
I silently started to walk away, until a felt a pair of small little arms grab onto my pants and yanked on them, making me turn around.
"Spencer, thank you and I hope that you and your girlfriend work everything out. When things do go back, treat her like a princess and never let her go." Charlotte said in her tiny voice and hugged my legs.
I smiled and she ran back to her parents and I walked away and hopped on my motorcycle, and headed home.

I was quickly pacing around my room, in deep thought, until Holden opened my door and told me to stop.
