Samara's POV
Well I was right because next thing I knew, my eyes met with a families pair of brown ones causing my heart to instantly flutter. My eyes scanned him up and down, which was hard to do because it was dark and crowded. From what I could see, he was wearing a baby blue flannel, some tan khaki jeans, and his black Vans. My eyes instantly went back to face his as he continued to stare back at me. I turned my head away and walked to anywhere else, but there. Ending up in the kitchen, I fixed myself a drink. No, I don't plan on getting drink so I just fixed myself up a Sprite. While I continued to slowly sip on my Sprite, a pair of hands came up from behind me and tased me on my hips causing me flinch in my spot. Turning around, I faced the one and only Jace."That was so mean." I said to him.
"But so fun." He smirked.
"Yeah, yeah. Whatever. Anyways, aren't you looking good tonight?" I commented on his outfit which was a blue button down, some khakis, and some black Converse.
"Why thank you, so do you." He winked and chuckled.
"Hi, can I steal her away for a second?"a,voice said out of nowhere.
"Well, does she want to talk to you?" Jace responded to Spencer.
Yeah, we may have told Keenan and Jace about the whole Spencer drama.
"Jace, it's fine. I promise." I looked at Jace seriously and then flipped around and stared at Spencer's chest.
"Ok, but if you try and hurt her again, I'll kick your ass." Jace said and walked away.
"Com on Samara. Would you please look at me?" He begged.
"Fine, you have 2 minutes." I told him and then looked up at him.
"First off I would like to tell huh how sorry I am. I shouldn't have tried to force you to do anything. Second, I want to apologize for calling you a prude because you're not a pride first of all and because you shouldn't have to do anything that you don't want to do. Third, I'm really sorry and I really do like you." Spencer said quickly.
"Ok." I nodded my head.
"Ok? That's all you have to say? Ok? I just poured my heart out to you." He said not rudely, but more depressed.
"Well yeah because now I don't know if I'll be able to trust you fully right away." I explained.
"Ok, I get it." He nodded his head in understanding.
"For right now, we should just stick it being friends and then one day, if we still like each other, we can become more." I told him.
"Ok. Well, as friends, would you want to go dance?" He held his hand out for me to take.
"I'd love to." I grabbed his hand and we walked to the dance floor.
When we got to the dance floor, the song on was "Baby Love" by Nicole Scherzinger.
"Aw, I love this song." I said, but then realized that it might be awkward to dance to since it's slow-paced.
"This song goes out to all my lovers out there." The Dj had said into his microphone.
"We can dance just as friends." Spencer suggested and I nodded my head.
