Samara's POV
I walked out the door and came face to face with Jace. He had his hand in a fist, getting ready to knock on the door."Sorry." I realized that we were chest to chest and that our breaths were mixing together.
"No, no. It's ok." He shrugged it off and took a step back.
He took that moment to look me up and down.
"Well, how do I look?" I got nervous.
"You look gorgeous." He complimented and gave me a cheeky smile.
"Thanks. You don't look too shabby either." I instantly blushed.
He was wearing a olive-colored shirt with charcoal jeans and his converse. He looked really handsome.
"Sooo... Shall we?" He bowed down and placed his hand in front of me.
"Why thank you, my kind sir." I bowed to him too and took his hand.
Holding hands, we reached his car and he opened the door for me. I sat down and he released my hand. Jace opened up his door and slid into the car.
"Let's go." He grabbed my hand and placed our tangled hands into his lap, while his other hand drove.
When we pulled up to his place, he got out and walked to my side. He opened my door and offered me his hand yet again.
"Awww! Jace is being such a gentleman." I gushed to myself.
"Whatcha thinking about beautiful?" He asked.
"Hold up. You didn't call me 'gams' or 'legs' right there. Is someone becoming a softie?" I mocked him.
"Only for you beautiful." He tapped my chin and nudged me into his house.
"Sooo, where are your parents?" I asked him.
"I told them that I was having a date night here, so they went out on their own date." He explained.
"Awww! I think that it's so cute when married couples still go out on dates together. I mean, I would understand why they want to get away from you." I mumbled the last part.
"What did you just say?" He smirked evilly.
"No-nothing." I stuttered.
"Sureee." He rolled his eyes, but was still smiling.
"Anyways, what do you want for dinner? I'll order it." He asked.
"How about Chinese food?" I suggested.
"I love Chinese!" He exclaimed.
"Ok. Chinese it is!" I clapped my hands together.
"So, onto Netflix. What do you want to watch?" I questioned.
"Hmmmm... What do you think of The Vampire Diaries?" He wriggled his eyebrows.
"Uh, it's only the best show ever created!" I spoke enthusiastically.
"Ok then. Let's do it!" He exclaimed.
"Uhhhh... That came out very weirdly." I blushed.
"I didn't mean it like that you naughty, naughty, little girl." He smirked.
"Oh shut up." I smacked him upside the head.
"Well aren't you just the sweetest." He said sarcastically and rubbed his head.
"Yes, yes I am!" I crossed my arms over my chest and grinned widely.
"Do you want me to turn on the show, or should we just stand here, talking all night long?" He spoke sarcastically.
