Zico pushed through the back room doors and out into the main area of the club. Akito was standing not too far from the door with his arms over his chest, and a challenging grin on his face. Zico continued forward, unbothered by it.

"So," Akito said, moving to his side. "I guess this is going to be a sort of race, isn't it?"

Zico laughed. "Yeah? I'll let you in on a little secret," Zico leaned towards him and smirked.

"I've already won. Don't you get it. I-"

"You're nothing," Akito said flatly. "You treat her like crap, you make her feel terrible about needing your help, and I don't. I'd say that I'm just as far in this race as you are." Akito turned and started towards the stage. "Best of luck to you." He shouted over his shoulder, leaping onto the stage and moving behind the DJ booth.

River watched from the corner of the bar as Koharu scrambled around to make drinks. She was doing well, and the money was flowing her way. River was pretty proud of her. Block B had causally performed, as if it wasn't something huge, but there were more people in the club than there had ever been.

The beginning of River's favorite song rang out through the club. Everyone grew quiet and turned towards the stage. Zico was standing in the center, and Tough Cookie was beginning to start.

Immediately, the crowd started going crazy, but River just stood and stared at him. She hadn't wanted to tell him that this was her favorite song, that she was absolutely in love with it, because she figured that wouldn't go over well with him. But here he was, performing it, as if it were nothing but another day. It was nothing but another day.

She bit her lip, watching him as he leaned over the crowd, who all shouted and clawed at him. He lifted his head, and his eyes locked with hers. God, she loved his eyes. They were so... so appealing. His eyes alone drove her crazy.

That was a lie. Everything he did drove her crazy too, and not in the good way. He pissed her off on a regular basis, he was an ass, and she was pissed that deep down, somewhere she just couldn't find, she had severe feelings for that dumb boy, who seemed to care less and less for her with every passing day. She needed to stop feeling this way, but he made it so hard.

Especially when he kissed her, like he did just before the club opened. If he did that again, River didn't think she could ever get over him.

Kyu Ree stood beside Koharu, hurriedly pushing shots towards the angry crowd of customers. Koharu was doing well, but it was clear that she was getting nervous. And she wasn't making nearly as much as the others had hoped for. She wasn't near a thousand just yet. She was about two hundred, maybe three hundred, short, and the night was drawing to a close.

Kyu Ree leaned towards her. "I'll let you in on something River does when she's absolutely in need of tips. Can you dance?" Koharu shook her head. "Well, you better figure something out." Kyu Ree took a step back. "Who here wants to see my friend dance?" She shouted, and the crowd burst into shouts and hollers. She looked at Koharu. "Get on the bar and just move." She whispered.
