32: So Young

River was silent as she moved back into the dressing room, her eyes directed at the floor. She knew she looked guilty. Zico had made it into the space before she had, and he was sitting right back in his spot, as if he'd never moved. All the others moved around enthusiastically, talking animatedly.

"Hey babe," Akito said, wrapping an arm around her shoulders and kissing her cheek. "Where'd you run off to?"

She bit her lip, her eyes falling on Zico once again. "I just... needed some air."

Loki laughed. "Did the video effect you that badly?"

River smiled, and as she opened her mouth to remark, the Bastarz appeared in the corner of the room, and everyone fell silent. "So I take it we look good," P.O. said smiling, and then he started towards Kyu Ree, who had moved to stand beside Taeil.

U-Kwon caught River's eye, but he turned and moved towards Loki, James, and Jaehyo. River bit her lip and turned towards her boyfriend, who tightened his grip on her. "What's wrong?" He asked, his breath stirring her hair.

She shrugged her shoulders. "I'm just... overwhelmed."

"You look great," B-bomb's voice drifted towards River, catching her off guard.

She turned to face him, surprised. He looked more adult, somehow, like he'd aged a few years in the day she hadn't seen him. He looked... incredible. "What are you talking about? Me? This is about you!" She said, gesturing to his outfit. He gave a weak smile. "You look incredible."

"Thank you," He said, turning to look at Akito. "Keep your eye on her," He said, winking, before turning and moving back towards the others, who were all formulating into a group. "We have five minutes guys." He warned, throwing an arm around Kyung, who smiled up at him.

Akito stooped, pressing his lips against River's ear. "We can leave, if you don't want to be here."

River shook her head. "I need to be here, for the guys at least. Just until a little after they go on stage, okay?"

Akito nodded, smoothing his hand over her hair. "Okay," He said, kissing her forehead.

Kyu Ree followed behind the group of shouting friends as they made their way back into the dressing room. Bastarz had just finished their performance, and they were brought back to the room before the others were allowed to leave, so they could settle in. Everyone was riled up, since it was such a loud, energetic scene.

Kyu Ree was holding Taeil's hand, and he was leading her towards the room but, out of the corner of her eye, she noticed Kyung watching them with a frown. Kyu Ree hurt for hurting him. She felt physically nauseated.
