River kicked and screamed, but it was no use. Whoever was dragging her had a good hold on her, and she wasn't getting away. She watched as Kyung and Kyu Ree moved towards her, but they stopped, looking over River's head.
She was dragged into the back room, and when the door swung shut, Zico moved in front of them, holding his arms out in front of him as if to keep River from getting by him. "You need to calm down."
She slammed her fist into his chest, and a loud umph filled the room as he fell to his knees, holding his chest, out of breath and wide eyed. "Don't you ever, ever tell me what I need to do again," She said, lifting his chin so he was looking at her. "Don't ever drag me anywhere against my will, and don't you ever touch me without my permission again, do I make myself clear?"
Zico stood, shooting her a glare. "Crystal."
"Perfect." She said, brushing herself off. "Where's my boyfriend?"
"Busy," Zico answered. "But I'll be sure to tell him that he needs to buy a leash for you," He hissed. "Jeez, one would think you'd be grateful for being pulled out of a bar fight, especially when people were calling the cops and you could have been arrested." He said, shaking his head.
River made a face. "He's stalking my cousin, I wouldn't have been arrested."
"For assault? Yes, you would have." He said, opening the door to the room and looking to Kyu Ree and Kyung. "You guys want to talk to her, because I'm not getting through her thick head." With that, he walked through the doors, and River watched as he pushed through the crowd and to the doors of the bar. She figured that this meant he was done trying to reason with her.
Kyu Ree was the first into the room. "Do you really think that was a good call?" She asked, shaking her head. "River, you have to stop being so irrational."
"He was stalking Koharu!" She hissed. "She may royally piss me off, but she's my god damn cousin! My own family, all I have left of it, I wasn't about to let her get harassed!" She said, shaking her head. "You would have done the same," She said, gesturing to Kyung. "And you can't tell me I'm wrong! You would do anything to keep Kyu Ree safe."
Kyu Ree's brow furrowed. Kyung was her friend, a close friend, but she didn't think he would do anything for her. After all, they were just friends. She was with Taeil. "Kyung," She started. "Maybe you should give Kyu Ree and I a moment."
Kyung nodded and turned, leaving the back room. Kyu Ree turned to River, who frowned. "I don't even want to start hearing it. I did the right thing. Maybe I took it too far, but I did the right thing. He won't come near her now. He won't even think of coming near her."
Kyu Ree frowned. "You need to go speak with the police when they arrive about this."
River rolled her eyes. "If you say so."
Kyu Ree strode towards the DJ booth, preparing to ask Akito if he wanted to swap, take a break, and let Kyu Ree play for a bit, but a hand clasped her arm and tugged her to a stop. She turned to find Taeil, an easy smile gracing his features. Kyu Ree immediately felt happy bubbling inside of her, and a smile tore it's way out.
