We don't love anymore
What was all of it for?
Oh, we don't talk anymore
Like we used to do~ 🗣
Lmaoo 😂
okay geez~ I'll stop.
But it's a bummer.
C'mon:0
So anyways, this chapter might freak most of y'all out and trust me it freaks me out too.
As we grow older, we become much more independent and have to take responsibilities in all things we do.
Yes, even for extreme introverts, who barely talk, need to step out of their comfort zone to move on with life.
For instance, you don't let your mommy make an dentist appointment for you when you're already 25 or?
Maybe some still do, due to anxiety and I don't blame you for anything. Don't feel frustrated mate.
I'll try to help as much as I can.
I've been there. Fear of talking to stranger face to face or even through phone. 🥴 I hated it and still do-
Yet I still am trying my best to master it.
You're probably wondering why does communication even matter when we can express words via text?
Well, communication helps you to understand others not only by their words but by their tone of voice and their nonverbal gestures. You can base off their personality, priorities and values are.
So how do we communicate better with strangers/people:
Again, this may not work for everybody but risking it once won't hurt a fly. Don't get discouraged too if it doesn't work the same way you wish it should've happened.
We all experienced that. You're not alone xD can't tell how many times I failed but I sure embarrassed myself more than I wanted to succeed.
1. Listen👂and maintain eye contact 👁👄👁
As we talk to people and exchange perspective, it is important to listen to them and know where they stand.
Avoid distractions such as looking at objects like your phone or adding questions as to are talking. You wouldn't want that either right? Just makes one pretty awkward.
Instead maintain eye contact.
This is a way to let them know you're listening to what they say.
Some are pretty shy when it comes to eye contact, but don't let it scare you off. It's not a competition stare either xDD
Just a gesture to show you care and want to know more about them.
Don't cut them off! Let them talk until they said what they wanted to say, as a from of respect. Especially if they are older than you, this shows how you were raised in most cultures.
That doesn't mean you can't stand to your ground mates. You just have to perceive what they're trying to say.
If you want to clarify what they said or didn't get what they mean, don't mind asking them firmly to repeat that phrase or even rephrase what they said.
2. Keep it formal 🎩
I'm not saying it is going to be easy to keep your calm when they legit piss you off.
But don't jump into arguments asap.
Try to keep your calm and don't change your tone of voice.
Stay humble my friend.
