Pfft maturity-

That's where most people fail🤡💀

Okay, yes I am immature. So who am I to talk?

However, at some point we balnace maturity and immaturity.

So why exactly did I choose to write this chapter?

Well, I found a paragraph in a website (in this link)
https://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=141164708

And this is the paragraph:

"...Brain Maturity Extends Well Beyond Teen Years Under most laws, young people are recognized as adults at age 18. But emerging science about brain development suggests that most people don't reach full maturity until the age 25..."

Well, we can either agree to it or disagree.

In some parts of the world, there are 5 year old or even younger kids, who are left alone to take care of themselves, learn how to use their survival instincts due to forced obstacles in life.

And in another part of the world, we have grown ass people who can't take a critism of their own actions and don't hold themselves accountable for their own responsibilities.

Oooooo shii- that burned🤭🔥

No but for real now.

I believe maturity depends on the individual.

We all are still learning to grow into a better person and that requires maturity. Without it, we're just exploited brainless home sapiens. 😒

1. Set goals ✅

Know that we all have a purpose in life.

We dream big. But I'd we don't take actions and dedicate ourselves to it, we can forget our dreams.

Take the example i gave you of the 5 year old little kid, who aims to survive in another part of world.

His goal is to survive and perhaps make his life better!

What about us? We don't know how well we have it until it hits us.

We're oblivious.

So set a realistic and clear goal, then stick to it.

Take the risk and responsibilities for your own goods.

2. Self-control 🚹

Learn how to deal with your emotions and control your actions. Analyze and then act.

Don't act like you're a spoiled kid! That's just a pain in the arse.

Be true to yourself and learn to express yourself better with calmness, rather than screaming complaints or taking action at someone.

3. Persistence 🔑

Maturity is a marathon, not a sprint. It takes time and commitment.

Embrace your personal growth and it will help you stay motivated to work hard and chase for your goals.

4. Respect other's 🙏🏽

No matter if you're agreeing to their opinion or not, just take it into consideration and respect it. Don't judge them for their opinionsor beliefs. Be open minded and

5. Give back 🎁

Whether it is borrowings from someone, time or good deeds, learnt to return the favor.

This shows you can shift places and focus on others too.

6. Confidence ✨

To move on and grow as a person we need confidence. Step out of your comfort zone and never underestimate yourself.

Learn to love yourself, before you love someone else.

7. Take ownership🤙

Instead of taking responsibility, many people look for other places to lay blame for their circumstances. Recognizing failure as an opportunity to learn and grow will give you the right attitude and will teach you how to be a stronger person.

8. Listen more/ be observant👂👁

Listening to others in a conversation can help you develop greater understanding towards another person. Also seeing things with your own eyes rather than depending of gossips, is the only evidence you need.

9. Stay out of negativity 👊

You know who you are and what you need.

Negative thoughts and environments are definitely not what you need in life.

Let go of gossip and people who harm your self esteem.

And don't talk bad about other's, who are you to judge.

If you have no kind words to say or kind prayers, don't even think about bashing on them.

10. Make sacrifices 💥

This hits straight in the gut, but you need to learn whom or what to let go. It is part of our lives. Learn to know that gratification needs to be delayed now in order to attain a future outcome.

11. Stay humble🤗

It's never wrong to smile all the time even in your worse moments.

Know that you failed and go on with a smile. It will get better if you believe in it.

And also stay humble to others. Treat them well like how you want to be treated.
