This seems rather impossible to achieve right?
But don't sweat your butt, mates xD.
It is possible. Nothing is impossible. 🥊
( if you read it slowly, you can see the: 'I'm possible'... :DD )
You just have to believe in it and do it!
(No, this is not a sponsorship for Nike 😂-)
This may not work for everyone as we all know everyone is different.
Confidence is not build in just one night! It takes persistence and dedication. ✊
So don't give up so easily and keep going.
It gets better. I can assure you that.🫀
Here are stuffs I tried out and some informations I found according to science.
1. Impact of confidence🪄
Confidence is not to be mistaken with arrogance and narcissism.
To be confident doesn't mean to be cocky 24/7 or look down on anyone else.
Don't misinterpret it!
Without confidence only little changes can be done, but with it the world can be changed. 🔅
If you remain silent but want to make a change, will your voice be heard if you keep it chained?
Get what I mean? Your low esteem is killing you.
And I don't blame anybody.
•You're hard on yourself. Calling yourself or being told a failure or you will fail
• You believe your opinion is less viable than those of other people.
• You're afraid to take on challenges and not being able to overcome them.
• You have anxiety and/or panic attacks -> feel emotionally drained.
You need to believe in yourself. Stand to your fears. May it be judgement from others or idk fear of being yourself.
We live in a society where everyone gets critised so what is there to fear for?
You might have been traumatized due to a previous encounter in life.
But mate.
Look how far you've gone, even with less confidence.
Imagine how much you can obtain with more confidence!😌
So loosen up. We can't be liked by everybody, but we can convince some people with our own ideas and help people out.
Stop saying "What if..."
Replace it with "Because!"
Don't hide because you feel inferior and let your negative thoughts take over.
Step out of your comfort zone and do what you have to do!
After all it's is necessary for the growth of a person :)
2. Wear black and wear a nice cologne/perfume ⚫
Your scent and the way you dress can make a change.
Ever wondered why the most badass characters always or mostlt wear plain black?
Sounds stupid, but according to psychology the "black" color makes one seem confident, attractive and intelligent.
-> kinda mysterious. This is why I love leather jackets 😎
As for the scent thing.
According to researchers, the scent can increase our confidence and have a positive impact on others and how they treat us.
So the next time you feel like being drained in your negative thoughts. Wear black and cologne/perfume.😂
3. Listen to bass-heavy music 🎶
THIS IS WHY I LOVE HEAVY METAL! XDD
DID you know that the type of music you most frequently listen to can subconsciously be driving your insecurity?
According to a study by Northern University in 2014, music with a harder baseline can make you feel more powerful, dominant, determined and motivated. 😎
LIKE A BOSS-
4. Take more pictures of yourself 📸
No matter how insecure you are by your looks. There are people who love your features and find it unique than you do yourself.
Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder, as we all know.
The more you see yourself smiling and the reason that causes you happiness, the less you focus on your insecurities.
This increases your confidence!
5. Talk to yourself in second person 🙊
"You've got this, Mitch!"( ͡ᵔ ͜ʖ ͡ᵔ )
"You're the man!"(☞゚∀゚)☞
"I'm proud of you!" ᕙ(░ಥ╭͜ʖ╮ಥ░)━☆゚.*・。゚
*cries in lonely*
JK.
Now don't come at me saying, you'd be considered as a psychopath if you did so.
Sometimes we need a certain someone to lift us up, but what if that someone is ourselves?
Why not praise yourself or encourage yourself to do better, rather than tearing yourself apart?
Just make sure it doesn't get over your head.
Value yourself more, will ya?! 😫
6. Your expectations matter 💫
Don't try to match people's expectations of you. Instead perform how you are meant to do so.
You matter.
Just do it! Fake it until you make it mates.
The next time you have to speak up, just say what you believe and stand to it.
We all have different opinions after all.
7. Surround yourself with positive people 💬
With that I don't mean corona positve-
LMAOO🤡💀
My humor is dead at this point. Sorry I take it back.
What I mean is find people who support you and like you for who you are.
Don't surround yourself with backstabbing or two faced assholes.
I know it's hard to find someone to lean on and be good friends with, but there are people out there who are genuine.
You just have to be more supportive and friendly to each other.
~•~•~•~
That's it folks xD
Stay motivated and wear your confidence with pride.
You're more than you know :) I don't make the rules.
You rule yourself.
