Grace was placed in room 407, and was given a cast from her foot to half way up her shin. She insisted it be bright blue and be signed with a purple sharpie marker. Sam and Alana were of course the first to sign it. She was released by three o' clock in the afternoon and driven home by Sam, along with Alana. As Alana arrived home her last conflict was to decide. She didn't really want to leave, it had been crazy here, definitely. She didn't see her dad much, but she could never live away from her mom. She'd lived with her mom and brother for almost her whole life, she knew her dad missed her and she needed to spend more time with him. She could never live away from her mom, they couldn't make her decide like this! Alana had finally come up with something, she had to tell everyone, so she walked into the family room and called everyone to attention. "I have found that it has come to be one of the hardest decisions in my life to figure out who I want to live with. I know you guys got divorced for a reason, but I can't decide who to stay with! Maybe you guys could somehow get back together? You just can't place the burden of choosing between parents on me!" Alana said. "I'm afraid that's not how it works Alana. We have our differences, and we can't just get back together. I know it's hard, and we understand that you have to spend time with both of us, whoever you choose, we're ok with it." Caroline said. "I want to live with both of you guys!" Alana exclaimed, growing more upset by the second. "I know, but that isn't going to happen, I'm sorry, I'm afraid you'll have to choose between the two of us." Said Maximus. "This can't be happening.....don't you understand, that I can't pick just one of you? It's not that simple, you guys really DON'T understand!" Alana stormed off to her room. She slammed the door behind her, she really needed time to think. If she was really going to decide, how could she pick just one of them? Who did Carter plan on staying with? This was all too frustrating!
