The doorbell rang, Sam was finally there! "I'll get the door! Nobody else get the door!" Alana shouted. Spike's ears shot up as he ran to greet Sam. "Hey! So what do you want to do today?" "Well I was thinking we could watch a movie maybe." "Sounds good."
Alana put the movie in and they sat on the couch with blankets and candy.
When the movie was over Sam got up to leave. Alana's dad walked in at that moment. "So you're Sam!" He said loudly. "Oh yeah. It's nice to meet you Mr.Smith." "Oh no, you can call me Mr. Cambridge." "Ah, sorry, Mr.Cambridge." "It's fine. Hey, I have some baby pictures of Alana, you want to see?" "Uh...sure! Why not?" "Dad no!" Alana shouted. He didn't listen and began to grab the scrapbook. He began to show Sam the baby pictures of Alana. Why was her dad so embarrassing? She couldn't understand why he did such embarrassing things for her. Sam was laughing while looking at the pictures. "Stop! Please!" Alana was so upset that she decided she'd rather sit in her room than watch them laugh at her baby pictures. She ran to her room and grabbed her phone. Sam knocked on her bedroom door seconds later. "Alana, it's Sam. Open the door please." "No, I don't want to watch you laugh at me anymore!" She answered through the door. "I was laughing at how cute you look in your pictures! Alana please open the door." "Fine, but I'd rather not." She said again. She walked to the locked door and turned the knob so it would unlock. Sam walked in and hugged her. "You know I would never make fun of you Alana." "I know." Alana said in a low voice. "Hey. Let's go back out to the beautiful dinning room again and talk to your dad." "I don't want to talk to my dad." "Why not?" "Because he's ruined all of my Christmas time this year. My whole stay has been a disaster!" She said upset. "Hey. If it was such a disaster then how did you end up with me?!" Sam said trying to cheer her up. "I don't know." She said with a smile beginning to grow. She made her way with Sam to apologize. That was the note that Alana's day ended on.
