Alana woke up, this time to the smell of her mom's pancakes, her actual mom's pancakes. Not the pancake recipe that her dad had used before. She ate breakfast and texted Sam to pick her up. "Hey, let's head to the well today, I have to find Grace before I go back home with my mom, my dad's house is closer to all of the local shop areas." She texted. "Great. I'm all set. Pick u up at 10:30?" He texted. "Sounds good." Alana answered. Right now, it was 9:43, which gave Alana about forty seven minutes to get finish getting ready.
At 10:30 exact, Sam pulled into Alana's driveway and helped her in the car. "Hey. So the ride to the well is about five minutes long, so we're in luck." Sam said. "Yes we are. And thanks for helping me find Grace by the way." Alana said. "No problem! Grace is a dear friend of yours, so I'm willing to help." Sam answered.
Five minutes later they were standing right in front of the largest well in town. It was about twenty feet across. Alana and Sam looked around the well, in the well, and on the well, and they couldn't find anything. The well was about fifty feet deep , so they couldn't see to the bottom, even with a flashlight. As Alana and Sam started to walk around the other side of the well for a second look, Sam tripped over a large rock and fell. "Sam, are you ok?!" Alana asked concerned. "Yeah, I'm ok." He said standing up. There was a small blue sticky note on the under side of the rock. Sam got up, and looked at it. "Well I guess it's a good and bad thing that you fell." Alana said. "Yeah, it's actually great!" He said half seriously, half jokingly. Sam grabbed the sticky note and read it. " You've listened well, made it this far. This is your last clue to find Grace, you'll have to use your car. She's hidden, a distance to drive, in a small area replicates the London Eye." It read. "London eye? What place replicates a humongous Farris wheel? Is there even a place that does?" Alana asked. "I don't know!" Sam exclaimed. "Ok. Ok. Um.... I can work with this! Well, even though it's spelled like Eye, couldn't it be I?" Alana asked. "It could be anything. How does he come up with this?!" Sam asks. "Ok. So we'll try it then. Switch eye to I and.....what can London be?" "Lon Don? Low Don? Low Down......... Low Down I??" Sam asks. "Low down, I. As in Low Down, I am? Is Grace low down some where? Underground?" Alana asks. "I think we're closer to figuring it out. The only problem is that all we have is that she may be located low down, as in underground, or under something. If we're going by car and it's a distance to drive than...... Could it actually be in London?" Sam asked. "I don't think he'd take it that far. London is out of the U.S., that would be too much of a hassle." Alana answered. "Some place underground that you have to drive a distance to get to.... How about the basement of Wellington Heights? You know that building where the workers file papers all day long." Alana suggested. "That sounds good! We'll check there first and if we have no luck then we'll continue the search for Grace!" Sam says. "Let's go, she can't be holding up well, this is going to take us about thirty minutes to get to so we'd better hurry!" Alana says. They ran to the car and put the key in the ignition. Soon they were speeding away off to Wellington Heights.
