It was now Friday and Alana was so excited to go on her first date. School felt like one million years, even though it was only seven hours long. Finally it was 5:00, Alana left for Sam's house so she would be there by 5:10 and get to the movie by 5:30. This was one of the best trilogies, and Alana couldn't wait to see the final movie; this time with a boy. She arrived at his house and knocked on the door. "Hey Alana! I'm so excited to see the last movie of the trilogy! And with you!" "I know, today in school felt so long, I couldn't wait!" "Well then, let's go!" They climbed in Alana's car and Sam drove. When they arrived, the previews had already started. They took their seats and waited. The movie began, and it was great!
Soon the movie ended, and Alana had a great time. "For once, I think a movie actually did a book justice." Alana said. "Definitely! That was so cool!" Replied Sam. "So... Are we a couple now?" "Yeah definitely! You're by far, the best girl I've ever met." "Thanks!" Alana said blushing. Sam drove Alana home, and they said their goodbyes. "So see you tomorrow?" "Sure, you can come to my house if you want." "Cool. See you then." Sam said, driving away. Alana told her dad about her day once she got inside. "So, I didn't totally ruin your chances with that Sam kid. How was the movie?" "Awesome dad! Sam's coming over tomorrow." "Sounds great!" "You're the best dad!" Maybe Her dad was finally beginning to bond with his own daughter.
Alana went to her bedroom and slept on clouds of hope and happiness. Her dreams seemed so real. When she woke up, in the middle of an amazing dream, she remembered it was Saturday, and she didn't have to go to school. It was 10:00AM so Alana texted Sam. "You can come over around 2:00 in the afternoon" she texted. "Sounds good, see you later!" He texted back. Alana had four whole hours to get ready. She took a shower, brushed her teeth, combed her hair, got dressed, and then ate some breakfast. By the time Alana was done getting ready, it was 12:00. She still had two hours to prepare.
