"Mornin', M'lady," Hiccup greeted his beautiful girlfriend Astrid Hofferson, placing a kiss on her cheek and wrapping his arms around her waist. By then, Astrid had stopped brushing her hair and placed her brush down on her dresser, leaning into Hiccup's embrace.
"Morning, Babe," she replied. Hiccup's lips split into a grin at the sound of Astrid's pet name for him. To be honest, he loved it...a lot. But most of all, he loved her.
"What're you doing?" he asked, placing a few kisses to Astrid's neck.
"Oh, nothing really. Just brushing my hair. Same regular routine."
Hiccup nodded, pulling Astrid a bit closer to him as he wrapped his arms around her just a tad bit tighter.
"What's with you today?" Astrid asked with a giggle. "You seem to be very affectionate today."
"I just can't help but love you, M'lady," Hiccup mumbled into her shoulder, placing a few more kisses to her neck. Astrid giggled again as Hiccup kissed her more. "I just love you so much."
Astrid smiled.
Hiccup returned the grin before placing his head in the crook of Astrid's neck, kissing along her neck and jaw. Astrid began to giggle again. After a few moments, she turned around so that she was facing Hiccup. Now her hands were on his shoulders and his were on her waist.
"I love you, too," Astrid added before cupping both hands to Hiccup's face and placing her lips on his.
The two became lost in the moment, not even aware of the world around them, just the feeling of their lips on the other's. Astrid's hands trailed up to Hiccup's unruly auburn locks, and as the kiss deepened, Hiccup placed his hands around Astrid's waist and pulled her so close to him that there was practically no more room. His hands rubbed her back gently as Astrid ran her hand through his hair. Hiccup soon brought a hand around her neck and pulled her even closer, savoring the love that was evident in the kiss.
They could have and would have liked to kiss for a longer amount of time, but to their dismay (more like, embarrassment), Astrid's mother walked through the door unsuspectingly. It's not like she was going to imagine Astrid and Hiccup kissing in front of her. They usually kissed at the academy or at the cove.
"Astrid, here are your-oh!"
Thora Hofferson quickly dropped the basket of clean clothes, her eyes widening at the sight in front of her. At that moment, both Hiccup and Astrid pulled away, embarrassed and completely flustered.

A/N
Thora walked in on a cute Hiccstrid moment...whoops. I feel like this might happen to Hiccup and Astrid on a daily basis. XD
So, some of you are probably going to kill me for doing this, but I took down Once Upon A Dragon Flight. It just wasn't going how I wanted it to. :( But I'm going to possibly re-write it...I don't know yet. But I would like to start an actual fan fiction, even if it's not httyd.
So, I hope you guys are having a wonderful day! Vote and comment! I want to hear your feedback. :)
