KILLUA'S POV

We took a plane to the area where I first met (Y/N). I was extremely anxious, but we had a plan. And we are getting her back no matter what.
Our mission is to destroy the academy.
There's no turning back from this. How successful will this plan be, I wondered. I looked out the plane windows with my hands in my pockets. My hands were sweaty, but I kept a calm exterior. Kazan and Ryu stayed silent most of the ride. It seemed that they were nervous too.
Once we got the area, we paid the pilot to stay there until we got back.
I tried to remember what I saw in (Y/N)'s memories. I knew how to get here. And I knew how most of the academy looked like. So basically, it's up to me, as long as I don't fuck up. Before we got here, we mapped out the place. Kazan and Ryu's job was to place paper bombs all over the academy, every room, every corner. Mine was to find (Y/N). Once I'm out with (Y/N), Kazan will set off the bomb with his fire, lighting them all up at once. I'm just hoping they don't run into trouble.

Once we separated, we had ear pieces to communicate with each other.

I had faith in them. They're strong. They can do this.

Me on the other hand, I was alone. I didn't know who or what I was going to run into.

After sneaking past all the guards, I finally made it to (Y/N)'s room, the room that I saw in her memories. The room she grew up in. This must be it. I hope she's in here. I slowly cracked the door open as I peaked inside. I didn't see (Y/N), but I saw two other people. I knew exactly who they were. The girl must be Sora and the boy, Haruka. I knew them from (Y/N)'s memories. I knew they were close to (Y/N). They looked at me, bewildered as I stepped in the room.
Immediately, I broke the silence.

I kept my voice to a low volume. "Hi, uhhh you might not know me but I'm Killua. I'm (Y/N)'s friend. I'm here to save her, and I would love your help. Please. Do you know where she might be?"

They both stayed silent for a second, looking at each other. Sora finally spoke up. "Yes, Killua, we know exactly who you are. (Y/N) isn't here. She's in the basement."

"The basement, why? Where is the room located?" I don't remember seeing that area in her memories.

"The basement is where they punish people for breaking the rules of this place. She's been there for days now...." Sora's eyes began to tear up as Haruka immediately went to her side to comfort her.
Haruka's took over saying,"no one knows how long her punishment is. We know she's suffering greatly. Please help her if you can."

I looked at them with sympathy and heartache. Sadness expressed on my face. Just how bad do they punish people who break the rules? "Will you help me? We're blowing up the whole academy," I said sternly.

They both looked at me in shock. "What?! You're blowing up the whole place??!" Sora yelled.

I put my finger over my lips, "Shhh! Yes. This is your opportunity for freedom. We have to do this now. Please." I pleaded with sincerity. I wasn't sure how they would react to this. This is where they grew up after all. Did they feel the same as (Y/N)? Would they allow this to happen?

They both looked at each other and nodded their heads, determined, but fearful looks on their faces, understandably. My eyes lit up.

Our new plan was to have Haruka lead me to the basement with his invisibility. Sora will keep all of us updated with her communication abilities. Her job was to walk around making sure no one was suspicious of intruders, and she also has to distract people around here.

Haruka kept me invisible as we ran to the basement. I broke the lock on the door and entered the room. There she was. I saw (Y/N). She looked malnourished and weak, as she wore a black eye. Her body was dangling from chains that wrapped tightly around her wrists. She didn't look conscious. She wore her usual uniform, only it was torn and dirty looking. There was vomit on the floor. I looked at her in disbelief. It gave me flashbacks of when I used to be tortured and forcibly trained to become an assassin. I tried to hold back my tears as I saw this unpleasant sight of someone I love. The room smelt of burnt human skin and vomit. The room was hot. My lips trembled as I mouthed the words "(Y/N)."
There was no time to think. I swiftly broke the chains with my sharp nails. I grabbed her in my arms before she hit the ground. We heard a guard coming. We were invisible so we could sneak past him but I decided to knock him out to buy us more time.

"I got (Y/N), we're heading out." I said in my earpiece to Kazan and Ryu.
"We're just about done here." Kazan said back.
I felt relieved. We were running down the hallway, invisible, but we ran into a group of people.

"That's the main master, Master Takashi." whispered Haruka.
"He's the one who put (Y/N) in the basement?" I asked,
"Yes," Haruka whispered.
We stood there, as quiet as a mouse.

We listened to their conversation. "There's intruders in the building. Find them now."
Another said, "I locked Sora in the office. We suspect she's in it with the intruders. We caught her using her abilities and questioned her. She seemed suspicious, sir."
"Good. I'll take care of her. Now everyone search for the rest," Master Takashi said to the group of people.
The group split up, leaving the main master alone.

"No! Sora!" Haruka whispered. Although we were invisible to other people, Haruka, (Y/N), and I were able to see each other. Haruka's eyes were wide and his mouth quivered.

I took a deep breath. I can't leave Sora here. "Haruka." I tugged at his shoulder. "Take me to the office. I'll save Sora."

Haruka looked at me with tears in his eyes. He nodded. We ran to the office. We could hear someone on the other side of the door. It sounded like Takashi. There's no way he beat us here. Is he that fast?

"Haruka," I said. "You take (Y/N) and Sora. I'll take care of Takashi. I know you can only make 2 people invisible.... so once we get in there, grab Sora."

"What?! He's too powerful. You won't make-"

"I got this, okay," I looked at him with a reassuring smile. I really wasn't sure if I would make it out alive, but I had to do this. For (Y/N), for everyone.

Without giving him time to respond, I opened the office door. The main master and Sora looked at the door. There was no one standing by the door, through their perspective, at least. Suddenly, I jumped out of the invisible shield as I kicked the master's face. He was taken aback. Haruka grabbed Sora immediately and made her invisible. The master looked over to see Sora suddenly gone.

And in a blink of an eye, I felt their presence leave the room. It was just me and this bastard now.
