Later that night when Chase arrived at the hospital Rose received a phone call. "Hello I'm looking for Rose Miller." The doctor said rather calmly. "Can I ask who's calling?" She said as she started to worry. "Hello this is doctor James I'm calling about chase he was shot the times a few hours ago you're allowed to come see him if you would like. Suddenly there was silence then she hung up the phone and burst out in tears. The next morning Chloe was extremely worried " Chase didn't come home last night didn't you tell him to stop staying out so late? He doesn't listen." Chloe said. Rose was scared to tell Chloe that Chase was in the hospital. Plus she knew Chloe would just ask questions that she didn't have the answer to. So she decided to just take her to the courts to have a little fun. When they got there the whole team was there so Rose rushed over to them. What are y'all doing here? "Chase told us yesterday to get here so we can get in some extra work and get home early," Trey said. "Then get to work, don't just stand there," Rose said. That's when Kevin said "we gotta wait for chase." Rose got so pissed she went on to say "shut up and just work I'm gonna go get my van all of y'all stay right there watch her I'll be right back" Rose then asked Chloe to make sure the team works out. "Where is your brother?" the team said. "I don't know he didn't come home last night. I think he was out doing Food-runner," Chloe said. "Now he's not at practice, something is up and we need to know what's going on." Star says as she continues to work out. Twenty minutes later Rose finally comes back and tells Chloe to go play and Chloe goes to go play. "Listen up Chase is in the hospital and I don't know what happened they wouldn't tell me and I don't know how to tell Chloe but we all have to go to the hospital I am about to take Chloe to my mom house I want y'all to ride with me to drop her off and we can go to the hospital to see me. Everyone was lost for words and just in shock. The whole ride to her mom house was quiet until Rose said " Chloe I'm taking you to my mom house she's going to watch you while I go handle something at work." Twenty minutes later they arrive at her mom's house and Rose walks her in then pulls her mom into a room along with her younger sister. "Listen, that is Chase's little sister. I need y'all to watch her while I go see what happened to Chase last night. The hospital called but there was no visitation allowed, I don't wanna worry her so please don't say anything. Plus I don't even know why he is there. I just need to make sure none of y'all say anything to her. I don't want her to get worried. I gotta go" Rose said. Rose was ready to burst out into tears.
