Part 6: The scare

After game two loss Chase gave his team a speech he was actually proud of his team because they only lost by one. "Why do y'all look so upset? That was only game two of the season we played hard, the game just came down to the last minute. Oh y'all must think coach is gonna get on y'all ass well coach told me himself he is proud of us. Yes I dropped thirty points and had ten assists with five rebounds. I stepped up because I saw an unexpected guest in the crowd." Chase felt like something was off about the team that rejected him and came to the crowd so he told his team. "When I first moved here I wanted to try out for the neighborhood park team but they wouldn't let me. So I did some research. I just gotta know how it is that this team won five championships in a row with the same players, no new players at all and the same referee at all five championship games. This team cheated their way to five championship trophies. It's time to stop that. Their coach was in the crowd and I had to show him we were ready for them. Clap it up that ball movement and defense was amazing." The score was 102-103 so Chase didn't really care. He then finished up his speech. "Coach told me to dismiss y'all and get y'all out of here, but I want y'all here tomorrow six am we can get done early and y'all can enjoy the rest of y'all day plus I need to make some more money working, y'all get up out here hard work on me hard work on three. 1..2..3" hard work the whole team shouted as they broke the huddle. Chase was going to go home, wash up and then go out and make some extra but he ran into some dirty cops. However he didn't know that they were dirty cops and he didn't know he was set up By the coach that was at the game. The coach from the cheating team. As the officer approached the window the officer said "turn off your engine sir." "Could you tell me what I did in the first office? '' Chase said. At first the officer told Chase his brake light was broken which didn't make sense at all to chase because he had just gotten it fixed the other day. Once Chase told him that he just got his brake light fixed the other day the officer then said he ran the stop sign. "Sir it's just not making any sense to me, you 're just making up things now so is there a reason you stopped me or not?" Chase said to the officer as he was getting mad. The officer then told Chase to wait for his backup to arrive. His backpack was not cops from the station, they were regular people dressed up as cops. Once they got there the officer told them he had a gun which was in fact a lie. Chase then starts to suspect that something is off which it was. The officers then proceed to chase the car one officer tried to yank open the door but it was locked. Chase looks into the mirror and he notices that the back cars are not police cars. "Y'all are not even real cops now give me my keys back sir, you had no reason to reach in my car and take them." Chase says as he is ready to pull off. The real officer then gives the other officers a signal to shoot but only four shots were fired, two in his leg,one in his arm and one in his chest. The officer laughs and tells the fakes to run. "You fucking sh- sh- shot me, call ff- for help." The officer then got in his car and fled the scene and didn't call anyone. He just left him on the side of the road expecting him to die. Chase then calls the ambulance. While gasping for air, Chase says "help I've been shot ii- think I'm dying. Due to the fact that he could barely talk they had to track the phone call.once They arrived onto the scene Chase was barely breathing and he already lost a lot of blood. The ambulance didn't wanna wait for the cops because if they waited any longer Chase could die.
