Although Chase decided not to play in the rest of the playoffs he decided he would help coach the team and keep them focused during the games and the practices.so he decided to give a speech during one of the practices. "Listen up. I know y'all have questions about why I'm not playing in the playoffs. Well I got arrested because some cops decided to set me up. I have no Idea why but while I was In prison I saw the same clown who decided to touch on my sister. Now I knew that I would be in prison for A while so I decided to make him suffer. That's when I got out I realized maybe I shouldn't play In the playoffs because y'all earned it i wasn't their for an entire season so why should I play in the playoffs why should I take y'all shine what y'all worked so hard for I ended up getting shot missed half of the season then went to jail and missed the first playoff game. Now Listen I'm not giving up on my dreams I'm just taking a break and coming back to it. I'll be back next year but I'm just saying though A trophy would be nice but It doesn't really matter if you win or lose we are going to keep working towards our championship because even though I'm not playing I'm gonna be right on the sideline coaching y'all now we got work to do because these next two games are not going to be easy. If we really wanna get into the championship game we have to win the semi-finals and the conference divisional round now i'm not going to sweat y'all to hard see but I don't know about the other coaches I can't really push anybody to hard because at the end of the day I'm still a player. I can't go through telling everyone what to do I might push y'all on the court but in practices where I'm on the sideline That's just not my job My job is just to watch and understand the plays but listen even if we don't make the championship we will be back here next year with all of our players. Chase said to the team. He broke the huddle and the team got to practicing. They didn't have to do much work because the coaches didn't want them to be too tired and sore during the games. So it was pretty much light practice. Plus the practice was only Thirty minutes. Chase ended up leaving because he had to hurry up and go to the shop so that they could fix it back up the way it was before the cops tore it apart. He actually decided to get a door where in order for people to enter the shop they had to be buzzed in. That way his workers could feel more safe he also decided to get insurance on the shop. He was irritated that He had to pay out of pocket to his employees since they couldn't work due to the damage caused by the officers. Not only that Chase Contract was pulled due to him not playing in the playoffs. Now Chase was never really worried about the money but he was going to use that money to pay his employees because Chase was barely at the shop so he had to hire some extra workers and he made his cousin a manager but then he got locked up and thought about firing him. That's when he found out they were dirty cops but Chase still decided to go talk to his cousin. He decided that he had to talk to both his brother and his cousin so he called them up and told them to meet him back at the house. So after he let the workers into the shop he went to the house to talk to them the moment he got there he got straight to it. "Listen, I'm going to be working at the shop a lot more. I'm going to be the morning shift manager so That I can take Chloe to school in the morning and pick her up but once I pick her up I will come back and count up stock from my shift lamar and you will be working at night. We need two workers at night because those officers are disrespectful and if they ever try that again it's gonna be bigger issues, Also this house is now y'all house I'm about to get me and Chloe a house and she won't have to keep complaining about y'all being to loud at night but we are going to be staying here until then well I am, I'm going to ask Armani if Chloe can stay with her until I get the house and get myself together. Plus they can have their girls' nights because they seem so happy to be living with a girl. See because Rose never really sat there and watched movies and shit with her. Also cuz I told you not to sell any drugs out of my shop and I know this yours because the cops planted marked drugs. Come on, you might be a manager and family but you will still get fired. Now imagine if they found those I would be doing time because of you right now. Then they pulled my contract. So I gotta work extra hard. I don't feel like the team needs me right now like I was barely even there for most of the season. They really made it there without me." Chase said. "Man if you don't shut up you helped through at the end of the season no one thought y'all would make the playoffs but y'all stepped up and let's not forget how you want on to road games by yourself when your entire team got food poisoning. You stepped up you could have just forfeited but that wasn't an option. I have never seen anything like that. Get it together bro go talk to your coach. You do deserve to play in the playoffs even when you were injured you practiced your ass off. Your all on youtube for training while injured and oh that's probably why they pulled your contract your not supposed to be training when your injured it's against the rules and and you should have been told that you were under review but if they didn't tell you that before they pulled your contract then you should go talk to them." Lamar said to chase. Chase got up and he did exactly that he didn't wait or anything he wanted to get things back on track.
