After dropping everybody off and waiting with the coach while she was waiting for a tow truck because her car broke down. When Chase and Armani got home Chase got in the shower and after he got out Armani got in. He sat on the bed and waited for Armani to get out of the bathroom. Suddenly she did. "Come here I promised we would talk, remember." Chase said. She sat on the bed "look I get that you have a lot going on and honestly I know that you just got out of a relationship,but what's really wrong? Armani Asked. "Look, Armani basketball is how I kept my pain and feelings bottled up. It's how I avoid talking to people. There are times where I felt alone when I wanted to talk to people so I took to the court. Look I like you as a friend but I can't date you we're on the same team we can't mess that up. Basketball is all I have. Now I probably won't even be able to play basketball again." Chase said. "Look Chase I'm always gonna be here if you wanna talk no matter what happens I will be here." Armani said. " you know how I'm making money from the gym?" Chase asked. "Yeah it's big," Armani said. "Well I was thinking I can book boxing matches for money and plus what I'm making from people memberships I can save up and open up a shoe store. All my money will come from my shoe store and the gym. I honestly just wish I could step on the court one more time and dominate just to take down those pumas for trying to kill me. " Chase said. " Look, I'm gonna destroy them out there, especially with the lineup you just created. When are you going to let us play together well we do have practice tomorrow we can use the court in our gym y'all can run a fives on five with some people at the gym. which is good because y'all never practiced together as a lineup tomorrow y'all will be running a tournament I'll text the starting line up in the morning we'll start at 2 pm." Chase said. "Do you wanna watch a movie?" Armani Asked. "Sure, just let me post this on social media and text the team. See Star and Asia Chemistry is already strong. However y'all all still have to ball and work together. Look I need y'all to win,"Chase said. ''Why do you need us to win?" Armani asked. "I came across a little bit of money. I'm putting it up as prize money. It's $3,000." Chase said. "A little that is not a little chase, what are you selling drugs or some shit ?" Armani asked. "How am I going to sell drugs and I'm living in somebody else's house. My dad died in jail apparently because he had money in a bank account for me. It was in his will." Chase said. "So if you got money from your dad then why are you putting all of it on the tournament?" Armani Asked. "That's not all of it, he sent me $10,000. Plus me and my dad were never really close after he cheated on my mom. I'm done spreading my emotions, let's just watch a movie." Chase said. " Change of plans we're going to win that money so how about we draw some plays and me and the team can practice them in the morning." Armani said. "No,no,no I can't have y'all over working before the tournament because then y'all are going to be tired. Just show them the plays in the morning, study it, warm up and stretch but y'all do not work out. I'm gonna go get some sleep. I'm a little tired from today." Chase said. As he went into his room. Suddenly somebody knocked on the door. "Chase, come here." Armani said. "What's u- how did she get here yo what she want?" Chase asked. "I don't know why I called you. How does she get my address? Armani asked. "We need to talk Chase" Rose said "Armani finished working on Those play's please, Rose what are you doing this is not my house you showing up to her house that's disrespectful. We'll talk Tomorrow I'm hosting a tournament at my new gym, you know the place I bought before your boys acted like cops and shot me." Chase said. He shut the door right in her face. " Look I'm sorry, see exactly why I have to get out of your house. He showed disrespect and he was in the car. What exactly did she wanna talk about? It's nothing to talk about." Chase said. "Look Chase it's Okay you don't have to rush out of here or Apologize because of your crazy ex but if she shows up again imma kick her ass." Armani said. "I'm not stopping you to save her, I'm stopping you to protect you. If you hit her while she is pregnant then you are going to jail. Look I like you the only reason I'm not with you is because I don't wanna mess up the team chemistry and pull that apart. I might not be able to play ball again but I still don't wanna mess up what we got. Chase said. "Good night, chase," Armani said. They both went to bed the next morning. The starting five went over the plays and were working out. "Y'all wanna get down to the gym early?" Chase asked and they jumped in the car and they went to the gym. "What made you change your mind?" Armani asked. "Y'all have to practice I don't know what I thought but look I got work to do I gotta get a security guard and a referee to control the game. And security because it's a two dollar entry fee we are about to make bank today baby this is giving back to the community." Chase said. He only wanted better for his community. It's just too many shootings going on so it's gonna be hard to try and stop that from happening. Chase is a hard working young man trying to help Change the community.Keep everybody happy but without promising it.Knowing he might not own up to that promise.Never make A promise that you can't keep and you know might get broken. Sometimes you have to show greatness. Plus leadership off of the court that you step on. You have to lead your community.
