Part 4: The creation

Chase needed 200 signatures in order to get a basketball court then get a coach which is why he offered to pay the coach. Plus he wanted his sister to be the assistant coach. Chase offered to pay for everything. See he would do food runners and ride runners to buy their uniforms. Since Chase didn't care about the money he would split his money at the end of the season between his sister and the coach and use the rest for his girlfriend and his unborn kid. So the next day Chase and Chloe spent the whole day putting up flyers. Telling people to come tryout for the team. When Chase took the signature's to the managers of the basketball club they simply told him there were no rules. So he put on the flyer that any girl or boy can play no matter what age. See but chase recorded everything they said because he didn't trust them. Once tryouts came around Chase and Chloe picked the players because they didn't have a coach yet. They also had to pick the coach so the players they picked were Trey( nickname: crossover Trey ) Next Kevin (Nickname: heavy hand kev) Then star (nickname: strong heart ) along with her friend Asia aka team player asia. Followed by jeff aka jeff the chef. And mar Aka fireball mar. luka Aka Three point luka. Then there was ben aka ben ya friend. Then there's Teniyah aka snacks. Then there's rasual Aka strong handles. There weren't a lot of players at practice. They also hired two coaches, coach Kim and coach James. The players did pick their own nicknames when they signed the forms, yes Ben did pick his own nickname. Which is actually better than him being called Ben the skinny Man but he did change it. Now the reason Chase couldn't be a coach was because of course he wanted to play. Now they practice everyday even on the weekends because No one has really shown that they belong in the starting five. Since they only had a few weeks Chase decided to step in as a team leader seeing they didn't have practice on weekends but Chase made them come to the park on weekends. Chase didn't want to lose the first game of the season. So he asked them to work with him. I mean come on let's be real he could have just done his workouts and drills by himself, but he nicely asked everybody to come and work with him so that it's easier for the coach to pick his starting five at the next practice.Chase gave them a nice little speech " Listen up people we only have right now we only have twelve players on our team right now see that's not our fault see but we gotta make sure we don't get injured. Playing or practicing. When we are playing they might throw elbows and punches because apparently there aren't any rules. See but we are going to play fair because at the end of the day I don't trust anything These basketball managers are talking about. I gotta raise my sister, my girlfriend is pregnant. I'm not doing this for no money. I can care less about the money." Chase was then interrupted by some new players. These guys were Malcolm aka money boy, Josh aka quick feet, Daja aka cheers, Justin aka Mr.big, Armani aka Ms. hearts , Jake aka Dr. Great, Ross aka The beast, Mike aka Flirty. Chase figured that was it but then the last five players that they needed showed up. There was Andrew aka brother smooth, Then there's Michael aka Mr.needs, Madalynn aka Ms.Mad, Matthew aka buttons, and Earl aka Mr. Finesse And grant aka speedy . Chase then continued his speech. " As I was saying I can't do this on my own that's why I personally have these practices so that I can get to know the team. See but not only that I know I said the coaches were going to pick the starting five at next practice well there picking today and the coaches aren't picking. So here's y'all Jersey's today we have professional Basketball players picking our starting five. We have Benny the creation , Nick the fit, and Candise in your business. Circle up guys listen right now we have twenty five players meaning people are going to get subbed out. Do not take it the wrong way if you get subbed out." "OK let's get it started on coach Kim's team we got Star,Rasual, Trey ,Mar, Ben, Teniyah, Chase,luka, Kevin,Jeff, Earl,and Andrew. On coach James Team we have Malcolm ,josh,Daja, Justin, Armani ,Asia , Jake , ross , grant , Mike ,michael,and matthew now remember these are pro's they looking for sportsmanship that mean no celebrating after you score that mean if you knock somebody down help them up. They are looking for team work passes for assists don't hog the ball communicate set picks set screens pickup on defense. Let's impress them so that they can post about them on our social media telling other teams to look out for us because we're going to be a problem. We are The Hoopers ." After running a scoring game of 121 The starting five that they picked was Star at point guard , Grant at Power forward, Matthew at center,Asia at small forward, and Earl at shooting guard. Chase did not make the starting lineup that didn't stop him from spending the last two weeks before the season to make his way into the starting line up. So he was on the court day and night working on handles and shooting. Some nights he would call up his friend to work on defense . He literally said he refused to take a break because he couldn't even impress pro basketball players. He wants to dominate in that first game. The crazy thing is Rose likes doing film so she made a film of his highlights from his old school and she took it down to the coaches. Once the coaches viewed the film they called Chase's phone but he didn't answer because he was at the court putting in work. So the coach went to the court to talk to him. If it's unclear the team had an indoor basketball stadium Chase was practicing at a public park because he just didn't wanna show his face at the team court because he figured they hated him. I mean the whole time he was missing shot's then causing turnovers. I guess he just felt pressure. I mean he did play for his highschool and he used to always put on a show no matter who was watching. Scouts were always in the crowd. So coach Kim pulled up to the park. " Listen Chase I know exactly what you're capable of the way you played the other day that's just not you, I used to come to your highschool games because I used to be a scout, Now one of our players did get injured Now I can put you in the starting lineup but you have to prove to everybody else you belong there. Meanwhile at the house Chloe was trying to get Rose to come to their Opening game. She felt like if Rose was there then Chase would perform better; he never told her that he played that way so that the rest of the team had a chance to become a starter. So she continued to try and convince Rose to come to the opening game. " Think about how happy he will be if his baby mom and unborn child are at his game. He is really going to put on a show" Chloe said. "Is this about him or the team?" Rose asked, confused. " Both honestly because if we lose this game then no other teams will want to play us, meaning Chase becomes more stressed and working all night long." Chloe said as she prayed for Rose to say she would go to the game. So Rose agreed to go. She also said if Chase plays good then she would come to every game of the season. No joke. It's a surprise. She didn't want him to know that she was coming to the game. Which at first seemed extremely weird but then she made it clear. That she should support her boyfriend at every game.
